The feel of an easy-going lodging house, located conveniently to train station, bus to the lake, market, and the old town. Central location yet calm with a neighborhood feel.
Wifi flakey during my stay - didn’t bring it up so maybe it could have been resolved.

We were dropped off at the business centre outside of Aix le Bains by Flixbus and they advised we walked 40 minutes to the town. We phoned the hotel proprietor and he promptly came and picked us and our luggage up and drove us to his hotel without charge. Fantastic

The staff were very welcoming. They gave me a map and directions for getting around the city. Then I was here to run a race, and they even gave me a ride to the start because the buses weren't running on a Sunday morning. It was also quite inexpensive for the location right by the train station and downtown Aix.
The curtains were too thin so there was a lot of light from street lamps coming into the room.

Friendly team. Good location. We were given advise about where to go and the off of borrowing bikes to go to the laje. Unpretentious but comfortable and clean.
Some noise from the station but we enjoy trains so it didn't bother us.

On arrival, we received a very welcoming greeting by the owner, who checked us in and showed where to go for an evening meal. A basic and clean hotel near the train station and center of town. Limited free parking available, but ample parking close by.

Friendly owners. Very nice old fashioned but superb value hotel in a great location for everything in Aix-les-Bains. Comfortable bed and good ensuite bathroom.
Some warmer bedding would be good, and brighter lights.

The hotel owner was fantastic- friendly and accommodating. He gave us amazing recommendations for seeing the city and area and we even met his family. Highly recommended.

The room had a bit of dust in the corners and one power outlet wasn’t working
