The High St location is so convenient for Abbey Wood railway station (2 minutes' walk) and buses into Central London. Plenty of lovely cafes, four pubs, coffee shops and corner stores for supplies. Bexley Town Centre is less than ten minutes by car. The owners are very helpful and communicative about check out, cleaning, check in etc.

Free parking is a bit difficult - two spaces only for the whole hotel and can be tricky if the side lane is busy with people from the cafe next door. Paid parking is available two mins walk away. Rooms at the front of the building are a bit noisy with High Street traffic and the two pubs close by but nothing major to complain about. I wish it was big enough for a reception/lounge area to hang out in, but these old buildings are what they are.

Friendly welcome, decent size room and comfy bed. Great location for bars and restaurants and station for london trains. Despite central location there is no real night time noise. local paid parking is close.

Not that i didnt like but just little things need attention. Kettle wouldnt work in socket but when moved it did but had to hold handle down. Shower very very slippery , just needs rubber mat. Carpet needs tacking under bathroom door and piece of trunking needs sticking again. All small stuff to fix and didnt really detract from stay. hope that is useful feedback.

Very well located for my needs. Large room and comfortable. Staff were incredibly polite, informative and went out of their way to help. This gave a lovely feel to the property, despite having a self check in and not seeing any staff until I checked out.

Decor was a little tired, bathroom had lots of water damage marks and grout on flooring was broken and coming away. Cleaning could use a little more attention to detail. There were multiple throw cushions on the bed, which I do understand give a nice aesthetic, however I doubt that these will have been washed in between guests, as bed sheets and pillow covers would be. The previous guests may have done exactly what I did, take them off the bed, but they may not have, so I find this to be unsanitary.

Fantastic location. Only a few minutes walk from the train station. Very clean and bright room. Bed was comfortable.

The shower wasn't very hot and the bracket didn't seem to hold the shower head correctly. It kept falling off. The chair near the TV had a loose leg, but there was never anyone on site to report this to. Not a major problem, but I just wanted them to know about it.

Brilliant location in Bexley. Merely minutes away from the train station and even closer to the bus stop that I needed to get to Sidcup due to train strikes (this was the reason for my stay.) As prices had sky rocketed for numerous hotels all over.. I was looking for something that didn't seem disgustingly money grabbing and I feel Bexley Village Hotel was very reasonable and that they were very friendly. I could only stretch to the single room and I have to say the bed was really comfortable and the decor did it so much more justice in person. It was bright and simple, yet sleek. The en-suite was perfect for me, with all the toiletries provided and plenty of towels for my 1 night stay. Plenty of tea/ coffee provided. Easy Wifi use. Lovely discounted offers on near by restaurants. I slept so peacefully and was very happy here for the night. Thank you!

This is extremely nit picky as it's not something that bothered me at all but I always like a bit of music on when I have a hotel stay. I couldn't find any music channels but there was otherwise a very good selection of tv channels.

The room was clean and comfortable., the location was on the main road and so there were lots of restaurants and shops that you can easily get to.

The tap hot water was not working and so having to boil the kettle in order to brush my teeth and was my face in the sink was not pleasing. The fact that a mat towel could not be provided for the second day due to the fact that the laundry company would be delivery the day after.

Despite there being no on-site parking, everything else about this hotel was either superb or very nearly so. The hotel itself is full of character, not bland or anodyne like so many chain hotels and yet it had all the expected facilities in the room and attached bathroom to make it a relaxing and pleasant stay. Lucky, the owner and chief receptionist, was helpfulness personified, directing me to a variety of places to eat, each of which gave a discount for guests of the hotel. There is a good vegetarian/vegan restaurant next door with a very nice bar and further down there is the Kings Head, a proper "local pub" with the added bonus of it housing a fabulous Thai restaurant where table service and a wide range of excellent, tasty and reasonably priced Thai food can be enjoyed. For breakfast, there's a lovely Italian deli next door, whose "Italian" breakfast is a triumph and where other options are available (including a full "English" including the usual round of pastries and coffees. All in all a superb hotel in a charming town. Recommended.

Great location. Staff contact was spot on. Comfy bed, room a decent size. Everything needed was available, including and iron amd ironing board.

glass and cup needed a wash before i could use them, tray with kettle had old sugar all over it. Difficult to get into closet space as there was a large chair in the way, was up early and conscious of moving it and waking up someone up below me.

I love how comfortable the rooms were, the staff were very friendly, we arrived late on Friday and they were friendly and very responsive to messages as we made our way there. A perfect location, we would visit again. The Jade coffee shop has great croissants and coffee.

Although you can hear music on the weekend from the bars it is not too much and quiet by 11pm. If you are a light sleeper this may bother you, we were fine with it and our 12 years slept right through from 9.

Self check-in was easy, thanks to the text message received from the proprietor.

The steps should perhaps be clearly marked, although the hallways were brightly lit.
