Very nice place, it has everything you need. Big rooms, nice pools (1 big pool is still being built and when this is ready, it will be even more luxurious). Wifi works well, shower was good, breakfast has several different options (it's not a buffet, you have to order what you want). Coffe and water is available all day long. They sell beer in the recepion - very useful! :) A supermarket is 5 minutes, beach also. 10 minutes walking to the San Juan, Rum Bar, restaurants, market etc. 10 minutes by tuktuk to Baja Bar what is a nice place for dinner with their own brewery. Also a nice massage salon next to the hotel (300 PHP/5 EUR back massage, 600 PHP/10 EUR full body). The staff is friendly and helpful (don't believe the negative ratings, just talk to the local people). I had very nice eperience when I asked for some help. Rooms have nice balconies where you can relax. The hotel has a nice dog Maui and some cats (if u like animals). :) There are always tuktuks waiting in front of the hotel gates if you need to go somehere and they even have a fixed price to the Siquijor harbor. NB! Book your boat tickets in advance - you might find yourself in trouble to leave the island on the planned dates (as we did). :)

Some shampoo in the bathroom would be useful.

The staff here is very friendly and you will feel welcomed. They have good scooters for rent at a realy good price. Rooms are clean and if you need anything they just ask the staff and they will happely help you out. Another big plus is that their head of security Maui can show you around the area if you are nice to him (He's a lovley dog) For the price i do not think you will find a better place.

I dont think there is alot to complain about, but maybe the shower presure could be a bit better. But i stayed at more exspensive hotels with the same issue.

Good value for money at the most popular location of Siquijor. From here you can easily arrange trips all over the island. Many good restaurants nearby, especially Shaka restaurant. They hotel has a tricycle driver named Aboy. He was a really nice and professional driver. For a set price he can take you on a tour for the whole day, where he will wait for you at each location. Every time he was still there waiting and made sure you could leave immediately to the next location. Would highly recommend arranging a tour with him or just a single trip. He would go out of his way too by making sure he would already be waiting for you at the hotel about 1 hour before, without rushing you at all. So you could decide to leave earlier or just have breakfast before.

Pool was a bit small. Nearby beach is shallow and not really swimmeable.

This hotel is a lovely spot for short or long term stay! Exceptionally clean! The staff are super hard working and all participating in keeping the gardens, pools, rooms and eating area spotless! Everyone is happy, smiling, joking with each other and singing. The location is easily within walking or driving to interesting places. It is not on the beach, but the beach is nearby. Water, tea and coffee provided all day FREE. Breakfast choices are plenty. Beds comfy. Hot water for shower. Staff are very helpful and will go out of their way to ensure guests are well.taken care of. (Special thank you to Jenny and Rose!)

Everything is perfect here! After 10 days..Zero complaints!

Spotless room, spacious, lovely terrace to sit out and dry clothes. Great little pool. Fabulous breakfast- proper bacon and eggs. They really look after this place. It is really clean and well maintained. They are working on a lovely garden behind the property too. 100 percent recommend staying here. We wanted to extend but it was sold out and a lot of other guests said the same!!

We had the villa beside the road so it was a bit noisy but nothing ear plugs can't fix. Not an issue if you are further back in the complex.

Staff is super friendly. There's unlimited drinkable filtered water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Located close to some restaurants, bars and street food options as well (all walkable). I walked by myself at night as a woman with no worries and felt safe. They will help you out renting a scooter as well. There is a very affordable nice massage studio right next to the accommodation. I went every other day. Pool is rather small but also very clean and well maintained.

Shower was actually fine but could be renewed/repaired maybe? The water kinda went to different directions as it seemed clogged in some parts. I had no problems to shower but maybe a thing to take a closer look at. No complaints otherwise

If and when I come back to the beautiful island of Siquijor, I will without a doubt stay at Aloja Seaside Resort. It is conveniently located in San Juan, right across from the beach with amazing sunsets, but not next to any bars or clubs that make excessive noise into the night. The supermarket is a couple of doors down, as well as many other restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is amazing and they are very helpful with information needed to enjoy your time on this beautiful island. The facilities are modern and very clean! The pool is a nice way to unwind after a long day and before you head out to dinner or to get a massage next door. Thank you for everything!

Room was a great size. Bed was very comfy! Was an outdoor area too with a clothes rail to dry things. Breakfast included & was lovely each time. Location was great, we had a bike but only used it for 1 day as everything was pretty decent around us food wise. The beach across the way is also great. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. Free water station and the water was actually cold! Big bonus! Love the friendly dog! Slept outside our room most nights!

Not the properties fault but our neighbours were very loud & could hear them clearly. Walls are abit thin. Water pressure is weak Pool was great however needed to be cleaned more regularly throughout the day. I seen staff clean in morning but during the day the amount of dead flies & leaves isn’t great. There was also no shade at the pool, an umbrella would be perfect.

It's along San Juan area and just right across the beach. It has it's own pool and the room is spacious. 4 of us shared the room and there is enough space for our luggage and walking area. Aircon is perfect. Strong air and cool. Breakfast is good and there is a bidet in the toilet! The staff and owner was really nice and helpful. Helped us reach out to a car rental owner when we arrived so we were able to roam around the island freely. Owner is very hands-on property operations. Checks on you when she sees you in the reception area. Plus, There are restaurants and a convenience store nearby. So you will not go hungry.

Not that i didn't like but something that they can improve on like put a shower curtain so that the toilet area will not get wet. Or if it has to be open, at least put rubber mats in the toilet area so that it will not be slippery because it's wet. Hope that they can put a soap holder in the shower area as well.

Just off the beach, the property has a nice pool area and sit down area. It’s very quiet considering it’s right by the road but San Juan doesn’t get much traffic. The room is an excellent size complete with desk and 2 sinks. Air con is great too. It’s all fairly new. The staff are smiley and lovely. Oh, and you get a good selection for breakfast and endless tea and coffee! Craze for a vegan/ healthy brunch/ early dinner is down the road. A really good convenience store opposite craze and, Aloha has its own tuk tuk. Note, if you want a day tour, go onto Facebook page Siquijor diy tours and find Johnry 👍🏼 excellent guide for the day!

The only thing was when you switch the light on in the bathroom it sounds like a helicopter is taking off but, apart from that!
