The room was well set up with nightstands, a round table with chairs and separate desk. I do a lot of travelling and this was welcomed to have a both a desk and table. I bought breakfast and came back to sit down at the table. The bed was very comfy - I felt like melted cheese! I like an extra blanket and there were extra blankets which was nice. Coffee, bottled water, cookies, all very generous! Bathroom was very clean, very bright, fan worked well to remove the moisture from the shower. Very notable was the heater was not noisy, and not overly loud, very pleased; most places these things just howl and rattle. The owner charges a hefty fee for smoking and pets - this I truly appreciate because the room smelled CLEAN, not like wet dog. The main door when closed sealed very well, blocking highway noise and no cold air drafts. This room had a main entry door, and, sliding patio doors facing the rear of the property which is well kept. If the weather was warmer there were chairs you could sit on outside. I like to sit and have coffee in bed in the morning, opening the curtains to the sliding windows it was nice to see the outdoors waking up, lots of pillows for comfort too. Finally, Rick the owner is very welcoming and enjoys his guests. Clearly he takes great pride in his property and it shows down to the last little detail!! I do look forward to staying here again, it is quiet, functional and clean.

The bathroom window was frosted, however I did crack it open carefully for fresh air, not too far, for privacy. A short curtain would be a nice addition for privacy with the window open.

Quiet and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was good and convenient to town.

As someone who is very sensitive to fragrance, we found the plugin air freshener in the room extremely strong. We had to unplug it and air out the room . We mentioned this to the manager upon departure. Only one plastic glass was provided and two paper cups for coffee.

Good location for our visit to Listowel. Pleasant staff. Appreciate the coffee, water, and cookies that are provided. Comfortable and quiet.

The bathtub's height was difficult for a senior to get in and out. Would prefer a shower stall.

A bit expensive for what/where it is. Didn’t realize how many stairs there were to get to my room. I have mobility issues and it was a bit difficult but I managed. Someone with a more severe disability would not have been able to stay in a room on this level.

Clean, very nicely remodeled rooms. Outside entrance is typically a "no-no" for me when I travel, but this is a beautiful, rural community and I felt very safe! "Old-school" door locks ....regular "house key" hanging on a plastic tag, (with no "secondary security locks once inside the room." but again......I felt safe where we were. (I am a businessman from the US and quite often travel to crime ridden cities.) The ice-machine was in a separate (outside entrance) room, and there were plastic icebuckets, but no plastic liner bags. I WOULD reccomend this hotel to friends and family with notation of the above conditions.

Super clean, fast check in/out. Rick at front desk was great. Coffee maker (k-cups), mini-fridge, and microwave in room. AC/heat worked just fine. Soap and shampoo dispensers in bathroom. Great noise-free policy from 11pm-7am. Spare chair in room (2 in total). Beds and pillows very comfortable. Relatively quiet location (minimal traffic/vehicle noise). Bottles water and cookies in room. Easy to connect to and reliable wifi.

Clean (white) towels but a few were stained. No iron/ironing board. Couldn’t turn bathroom light on without the fan (little noisy). Desk was small and almost half covered with coffee maker, room phone, and various signs and notices (difficult for working if required). No usb plug-ins (most hotels now have lamps or receptacles which accommodate phone chargers).

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bottles of water and cookies in the room were a nice touch.

The shower was fairly small. I couldn't get the fireplace to show any flame.

We liked how clean the room where. The host waited for us at the front desk with the keys even we almost got there around midnight. Very clean, quite and comfortable place to stop for the night on your way to a larger city.

Apart from big cities.

Had a little hiccup with the price I secured through booking.com and what the motel had in their system. Turns out it’s a glitch in the booking.com software that doubled the tax. They staff handled it well and refunded the difference immediately.
