We loved the location and professionalism of staff. Mature gardens were shady and peaceful. established in 1950s. Frangipani trees in full bloom late Nov. Beach views. Great restaurants a short walk. New aircon and clean room. Beachfront restaurant is a lovely setting for breakfast. Staff are attentive and accommodating. They make a great pot of ginger tea. Local honey is good too.

The pool looked a little cloudy. But it was clean and cool. We enjoyed many swims.

Literally on the beach, with direct access. Room are very spacious, and AC is working, which is necessary in lovina. Considering the price it is a great deal!

This traditional style 1950s hotel in Lovina is working to keep the original details as envisioned by the family who built it. I love this about the property. With some TLC in the coming months, I believe it will stand out and flourish! It is well situated along the beach with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The owners work with local businesses to give their guests a fulfilling experience. The restaurant serves up delicious Indonesian and Western food selections. This is a very well priced selection of room types. The garden is well kept, and I was gifted a fresh mango from one of the trees. At this time of year, it is so hot in Bali (30+) that it is difficult to keep any pool clear as glass. The staff work round the clock to maintain this pool, which was renovated last year with new tile and deck surface. It is a worthwhile trip to Lovina to stay at this lovely property, which would make a perfect backdrop for a wedding.

The other reviews that unhappy traveller's left. I usually read all of the reviews for a property. The rain made the pool unusable for only one day for me , I stayed for 3 days.

What's not to like, such a beautiful laid-back old hotel that has charm and brilliant views. The staff bent over backwards to help. The location is right on the beach. It's something different in bali. Be prepared to see cats around , easy walk to many local bars and restaurants, the local supermarket is less than 4 mins away. The pool is easy to use, clean, and pleasant to sit around. There was miminal Hassel from outside vendors. The grounds are clean and tidy, with staff taking the time daily to maintain the yards.

The 4am wake up from the local mosque can be a tad loud, at times disturbing one's much wanted sleep. However, you do get used to it after a few nights.

Amazing location and even better staff. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates due to being overtired, yet the staff were so accommodating and helped me rebook. The bungalows are beautiful and the place had coconut trees and cats laying around. The pool is great and you can walk 1 minute to the beach. Our room was cleaned everyday and we had new water everyday. The location was brilliant, so close to an INDOMARET and a Pepito for fresh fruits or snacks. There was also local food around and a Vietnamese restaurant within 5 minutes walking distance. Also a very great location for dolphin tours!

I can’t really fault this hotel as the location and the staff was great. However, due to time the room was a bit run down and the pillow was quite stiff. I’d definitely recommend getting AC as with just a fan it was boiling at night (not the hotel’s fault).

The location was superb, we ended up with what we consider the best room as it afforded us the most beautiful sunsets from our terrace as we enjoyed a gin and tonic. Breakfasts were basic but satisfying. Gorgeous pool. Close proximity to bars, cafes & restaurants. Hired a boat for NZD30 for the 2 of us for dolphin spotting and were not disappointed 🥰

The resort was built in 1950s and is somewhat dated which shows in the first 2 rooms we occupied. However we were delighted with the third room as it was well appointed in all aspects and for the magnificent sunset views.😊

Excellent place. Brilliant, friendly, helpful staff. Great room with the aircon, cleaned every day. Every night a mosquito coil was lit out on the spacious verandah seating area a lovely extra thoughtful touch. Lovely pool and lounging area. Restaurant over looking the sea. I ate in the restaurant for 6 nights. Very tasty, fresh meals with a good menu to select from. Better than other places I'd tried in town. Also great substantial breakfasts. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Lovina beach hotel. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Clean place, great for relaxation and very accommodating staff!

Beach full trash (seen whole piles of trash next sea during a night walk at the beach). The water was murky and devoid of much life. Only real option if you are into snorkeling or diving was to book a tour to the neighbouring island of Menjangan. The snorkeling trip to the local reef just isn't worth it and neither is the dolphin trip which involves a ton of boats chasing after a small pod of dolphins and 3min underwater visual while hanging from a piece of wood and being dragged in the water by the boat.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, just so friendly,happy and welcoming it truly was a treat. Lovely ocean view from the room,which was cleaned every day. Its an old hotel which could do with a bit of bathroom maintenance but for the price I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely food, I enjoyed all of my meals in the restaurant. The grounds were kept beautifully and the sunsets just wow.

The pool was a bit green so unfortunately I didn't want to swim in it which was a disappointment, although it was a lovely area to lay around. I didn't realise a 3 day festival would be on at the time so the tents blocked much of the view for 4 days and the noise from really loud rock music until late at night was awful, not the hotels fault but I wish I was informed beforehand and I could have changed my dates around.
