This hotel is paradise - a hidden gem. Every member of staff is ready with a smile or joke, and they truly make sure you are taken care of. An example: Dedi was our butler for the stay, and when he learned we had an early drive to the airport, he prepared breakfast boxes for us to take on the road, including the pineapple juice we loved. Truly exceptional ❤️ The hotel is buried in the mountains with an incredible, unbroken view of the northwest coast - sunsets are particularly stunning. Both restaurants on site also offer excellent Balinese food (and other dishes for those less adventurous - but really recommend the local food!) We stayed in the villa with its own perpendicular pool - highly recommend. In short, we really fell in love with this place and would recommend to anyone ☺️

It is a far drive from the airport - but worthwhile!

This is a fabulous place to stay. Private rooms, great staff, nice food, pool and views. Plenty of activities to choose from both complimentary and paid. We loved the yoga and took a car to walk the Munduk Waterfalls which was nice. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff made us feel very special.

Everything was great 😀

Staying at MMP was the highlight of our trip to Bali. It was a welcomed haven of tranquillity after the other busy areas we visited. The staff were wonderful, the facilities were awesome. There was a range of activities and tours on offer. We particularly enjoyed the sustainability tour with Giri. He is highly passionate about sustainability and education, and clearly loves his job. We also had a wonderful tour with Duta in the vegetable garden. Also would like to thank Apri who took us on the rainforest trek and canoe, and Bastian who gave us the plantation tour on the first day we arrived. The staff working here really made a great impression and, on our last day several different members of staff asked us for feedback and if there were any improvements we could think of - which we honestly couldn't! We hope to come back one day and stay again, we have been recommending MMP to all of our friends. Thank you!

Step into another world away from the chaos of southern Bali. Everything was perfect, we didn't leave the resort for several days, enjoying the resorts daily activities, exceptional coffee (of course) and the genuine Bali hospitality of old. Loved the bath, the jacuzzi, the bed, all the little extras like turn down service. So nice to be somewhere cooler than the beach, no air conditioning and wasn't needed.

Not suitable for mobility issues, very steep site, can be slippery... But you could probably call the buggy everytime if you needed. We wanted to buy a la carte breakfast but it seemed very hard /impossible. So we had to pay for all you can eat when we only had one dish.

This property is exceptional. The service and friendliness of the staff makes me want to go back to Munduk Moding Plantation again. We got the Dadem Tree Room, which had its own jacuzzi with a secluded view of the plantation. It was great. A bit on the pricier side, as we booked last minute, but worth all of the 3 days we stayed there. Wish we had more time to spend there. All the facilities were great.

Munduk Moding Plantation is far from the airport, which is not their fault. Leave early to avoid traffic, we came there directly from the airport which was a mistake as even though we left at 1 PM we ended up reaching at 6:30 PM, tired and exhausted. We felt like we lost a day.

Our stay was truly unforgettable. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability wasn’t just a concept, it was beautifully woven into every detail, from the eco-conscious design to the organic, locally sourced cuisine that I absolutely loved. The luxury felt effortless and meaningful. My girls 12 and 15 years old were completely engaged with the activities, which were not only fun but also thoughtfully curated to reflect the hotel’s values. It’s rare to find a place that blends indulgence with purpose so seamlessly. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of coming back.”

Nothing.

The best thing about the resort is the staff who provided exceptional service. They were so accommodating and just delightful. The views were stunning, the food excellent and the shared resort area perfect. We enjoyed sitting by the stunning pool.

We had what I would suggest was the least expensive room. The room layout was fine but we had to have a very loud humidifier running the entire time due to obvious damp issues. It was the end of the wet season so I am assuming that dampness is an issue during this time. However the smell wasn't pleasant in the room and didn't seem to be an issue in the main areas.

What a beautiful resort! In one word: stunning! The view, the villa (great last minute price), the food. It all hits a perfect 10-. The pools are fantastic and staff goes far and beyond to give you the best stay possible. They drove us to the restaurant in a golf kart, best service ever - as I have bad knees. Nothing was too much. Just app for the next ride, very convenient. Being on a coffee plantation make sure to take the tour, there’s one at 14:00 by golf cart which was really nice. Or take the walking tour at 9:00 + 11:00. Of course the coffee is great, though I didn’t like the beans they use for the (standard) cappuccino. But my next cup was with another brew suiting my taste perfectly. There’s also a coffee maker in the room with 4 types of coffee blends to try: love that! Furthermore they put great effort in sustainability, with refills for the bottled water etc. Bathrobes, slippers, welcome fruit. Breakfast was stunning and do try the smoothies. Everything made fresh and you could order extras, as it’s a la carte. Again it came with great service. For dinner the warung was fully booked but the other restaurant was just as nice. And also great satay there :)) We weren’t bugged by many mozzies. And an eco friendly anti-bug-lotion is provided with the toiletries. We loved the hot tub at the villa (37C) and the pools were heated up to 27C. Pity we could only stay one night.

Yes, old knees didn’t love the steep steps. It’s a very wide spread property. But the golf kart service was more than perfect. Weather wise more clouds than in Lovina (but the sunset was still worthwhile). Other than that everything is perfect.

The Hotel is located on the top of the mountain, very nice weather and stunning view. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, always going extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The food was good enough but not wow and quite expensive for what you can get. The villa we had was impressive, with a hot tub, super comfortable bed, tea & coffee, fruits, water....it was just perfect. We had some interesting activities within the resort: kite making, coffee plantation tour where we learned how they harvest the coffee, candles and bracelets making. We also had a lot of fun with Giri from Sustainability, who explained us how they recycle the plastic and help the community in the region. It's impressive what they can do out of recycle plastic and we could actually go in their manufactory so Giri can explain the entire procces of reusing the plastic to create different furniture objects.

It's hard to say what we didn't like. Maybe the location is far from everything and the taxi drivers will not come. Therefore, take into consideration to spend there not that many nights so you won't get bored. The Resort is perfect for relaxation in the nature.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Our stay in Munduk was absolutely perfect — this hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Everyone made us feel so welcome and cared for. A special thank you to Ketut, who was our driver for several tours. He went above and beyond — always kind, knowledgeable, and eager to share everything about Balinese culture with us. Thanks to him, we got to explore so many beautiful places and learn a lot along the way. This was truly the best hotel experience of my life, and I know we’ll always remember our time here with so much affection. Thank you for everything!
