I had a wonderful stay at Tentrem Resort in Munduk! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented – every meal felt like a fine dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile. The rooms were spacious and clean, with lovely daylight-filled bathrooms and the added bonus of Netflix for a cozy evening in. Indra was fantastic and gave me great tips for excursions in the area. A special thanks to Delli, who went out of his way to help me get a doctor’s appointment and even accompanied me there – I truly appreciated his support and kindness.

The place was lovely, clean, and the staff were very friendly. I always felt safe and well looked after. Also, the breakfast was yummy (my favorite were the pancakes), and I had dinner there once, which was delicious. As a bonus, you can watch a lovely sunset at the restaurant and watch the stars afterward. Definitely a place I could come back to.

As it was low season, they were still repairing some things, and there were no yoga classes.

This is a new Hotel, it has opened this year. It's a big room, comfortable bed, the view is very nice with your own cozy pool and a nice bathtub with a great view. The place is up the hill, nestled in nature. The breakfast is fresh and you can sit and enjoy the view. Thank you ver much for making a vegan breakfast. The whole place is tranquil and quite, totally hidden away in the middle of a plantation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a possibility to book a driver, Gede, he was very friendly and helpful. From here you can do all the trekkings, visit the water temple and the rice fields.Thank you very much for making our stay so comfortable.

There are some things to improve: There are some ants in the room For the little pool there is not enough warm water. Especially when it is cold or it rains, it would be a nice thing to have. Also some extra blankets, because you could have some cold days. So bring a sweater and you can enjoy this oasis of peace.

Munduk Tentrem is a brand new, beautiful and cozy resort located in a small village about 15 minutes from Munduk. It was by far the most expensive place we stayed in on Bali, but we got what we payed for. The rooms are fabulous and the team is eager to provide the best possible experience during your stay. The sunsets here are magnificent on a normal day, and beyond breath-taking when the weather is just right. With an unobstructed view of the mountains and the ocean all the way until Java. We enjoyed that same view from our room, bath, balcony and private outdoor tub. The food, some of which is grown on the small organic farm, ranges from good to extraordinary. So lovely to enjoy perfect avocado's fresh from the tree right next to the restaurant. Next to the standard menu, there are a few three course menu's to choose from. None of those was vegetarian, but upon request we got a lovely alternative on our last night there. To top it off, the driver/guide suggested by the resort, Gede Yudi, was by far the nicest we had on the Island.

Interestingly, there sometimes was a difference in quality between the same dish at different moments. always good, but sometimes exceptional. Perhaps due to a different kitchen staff? If we really have to name something to improve it would be the french fries, which were a little disappointing. Luckily there were plenty of other options though.

This cute little hotel is situated on the hilltop tucked away from the major road. There's only 8 rooms so the staff could take great care of us. The manager Deli and the staff were especially attentive. The restaurant food was delicious. They even set up a camp fire for us so we could enjoy our food under the starry night.

It’s setting was magic. Beautiful sunsets. The breakfasts were very nice and large serves. Quiet location high in mountains. Close to some beautiful waterfalls

Not much to do within walking distance and roads very steep away from village meaning only option really is car and driver to go anywhere.

Once we got there past the under construction entrance it was beautiful. The staff invited us to a ceremony they were having and we felt very included and cared for.

The under construction entrance was not welcoming. Our taxi missed the entrance because the sign was not visible coming from that direction.

Staff is amazing, food is good, rooms are perfect and place is quiet. View and sunset from the restaurant and room are absolutely wonderful !! Nice place to start trekking as this is uphill. Small advice: prepared as the area is a bit windy (because it is so well placed for the view.)

The best view you can get in Munduk, and if you like high places, all of Bali. Walking up above the clouds and watching the sunset with the clouds below you is an incredible experience, there’s no better place than here. Incredible staff, great service, and beautiful resort.

Lovely views, excellent service, a nice and friendly atmosphere. Easy communication with staff and management.

A bit too “spartan” for us. The restaurant’s 180 view is breathtaking, but when it’s windy and rainy you’re out until the open and it can get uncomfortable.
