The staff here were lovely and so was the food. It is on a beautiful spot rooms were spacious and had nice balcony. Eating area was great for sitting looking at sunset over the mountains. There are beautiful lakes and waterfalls close by.

Not the properties fault but the dogs in the area are really aggressive. I imagined I would walk a different direction every day like I do in other countries but I ended up only goi g once because it was so stressful with the dogs. That means you have to rely on private drivers (no grab or gojek) which is a pain and expensive.

Everythig was just excellent!!! Rooms are amazing, exceptionally clean- never seen smth like this on Bali, bed sheets and towels are absolutely white and fresh. Best matras and pillowcases. Location is just great. Close to waterfalls and rice terraces, forest around guesthouse, you can walk around any direction. Breakfasts are delicious, lunch and dinner in restaurant- also. Staff is amazing and totally helpful! Owner and his son, who drived us to some locations- beatufil and very kind people, best impressions that just can be. I enjoyed a lot our time there.. So, I can absolutely recommend this place- there are lot's of things to do, not only trek to waterfalls!

Location was beautiful, in the heart of a little village in the middle of the forest. Silent, locals collecting cloves, very helpful and humble people, thank you so much for your hospitality. We had an amazing massage and treatment of 2 hour for a very good price. You can walk to the waterfalls if you want to, it is like 30 min walking distance. Less than 5 min walking from this hotel, there is another hotel with swimming pool, so you can stay here and have a lunch in the other one enjoying the swimming pool facilities paying less.

They didn't want to rent a motorbike to us we were not sure why, so we ended up walking a lot but, we needed to lose weight anyway 😂

Beautiful scenery. You are in a secluded area, but it is worth it! Very kind owners. They do go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Very helpful with booking dolphin watching trips and taxi! Diebtonit being in quite high up, the weather was slightly cooler. Still warm but you could rest a bit from the heat of Ubud or Denpasar They even sorted us with breakfast to go when we were heading out at 5am!

You are relatively far from everywhere, and rural. It's not a place for you If you don't like cricket noises or morning rooster 'songs'. Better toiletries would be an advantage. I was missing a shampoo.

The on-site restaurant offers delicious meals at reasonable prices. Additionally, the hotel provides convenient laundry services, with clean and ironed clothes ready by the next day. Guests can enjoy numerous trekking routes around the vicinity. The hotel also partners with a massage salon that delivers excellent treatments at affordable rates. All services can be conveniently paid for by card. We highly recommend this establishment.

**Hotel Recommendation:** The hotel is located a bit away from the village center, so you will need to walk a little if you want to get there. However, its location is still excellent, especially if you want to visit the nearby waterfalls. The rooms were very clean, and nothing was missing. The food was also delicious, although there was a bit of a wait during dinner. Everything was prepared with such love and care, so we didn't mind the wait at all. The owner is very kind and helpful, assisting with organizing activities or arranging transportation to the next accommodation. The beds were a bit too firm for our taste, but that's a matter of personal preference. We can definitely recommend this place!

The guest house is relatively basic but has all you need! The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. The location is perfect if you want to visit the waterfalls or see the rice fields. You can walk to the “main village” as well. The staff is really friendly and can help you with everything. They really make you feel very welcome. The food was also very good. The best thing about the location is probably that it’s so close to nature and the amazing view from the terrace.

The location is in the nature, so you can hear some animals (dogs, chicken, crickets) and sometimes also music from the temple. We were not disturbed by this at all and even liked it. But someone with a very light sleep should probably pack ear plugs (but that probably goes for all accommodations on Bali 😅)

The room I was given was clean, staff members helpful, the view was OK.

Unfortunately the room that I was given did not have the views that I was hoping (I booked the place because of the photos with the views but the lower floor rooms don't have the same view) for as it was a lower floor. When I asked to be moved to an upper floor room the room there had severe mould issues which was shocking and disappointing so I just stayed at the lower level. I find it really somewhat shocking that rooms with huge black moulds on the ceiling are being rented out at all. This should not be happening and such rooms should not be offered to guests, it's definitely not OK for sure.

Everything about Bali Bening was fantastic. The view was phenomenal, a highlight, among many, was sitting on the deck eating delicious food. Made was a wonderful host and chef.. Truly the service and food were remarkable. The dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients and so well seasoned, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was large with very comfortable beds. We felt like we were at home. I have to emphasize the view and the food. I think you would be missing out on this beautiful waterfall area if you did not stay here. We will return next time to stay at this incredible place. I want to take a cooking class from Made next visit.

Nothing, everything was fantastic.

It was my second time at Bali Bening and I like the place very much. It has a great terrace where you have your breakfast and can get dinner too. Views of the green surroundings everywhere. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. You can start the Munduk trek directly from the hotel. They also have a great driver at a very good price. The price for the stay is also unbeatable.

The only thing to say is that the bathrooms could do with a little renovation but the water pressure is good and the water is warm so everything works perfectly.
