Don’t look any further! This was an absolute DREAM LAND! We loved the location (local neighborhood), nature sounds/frequencies, divine breakfast (we are raw vegans and were served generous portions of yummy fruit and smoothies every rising), sitting on the porch and looking out the windows was like watching nature TV so many birds and other animals enjoying the rice terraces. Great location for exploring around the area. Being greeted by the sweetest beings upon our arrival we felt so held by Doni and his family - very responsive via what’s app and helpful! we were so in love with this spot by the end we booked two more extra nights (our last nights in Bali) and were so happy to spend time with the family eating fruits and connecting! They also had a scooter for rent during our stay and arranged a driver to the airport. Cutest little cabin ever with privacy this place is a must!

Absolutely nothing it was beyond perfect

First of all, we liked the hospitality by Doni, very helpful with all the information about the area, and very welcomed by him and his wife. The place is very clean and has a beautiful view of the rice field. The breakfast (Banana pancake) was delicious! The waterfalls around (We have been here in Feb) were full of water and even you could swim in. We have been in Tamblingen Lake with a bit of hiking to the Pura Dalem temple which has a beautiful view if you are climbing a bit up the hill. A few min by motorbike you can get to "Eco Cafe2" A great place for coffee lovers with a beautiful view and a fair price for merchandise. We recommended to stay over!

A table or a closet for the clothes from the bags would help to feel more comfortable for the longer stay.

The Staff and the owner were super cool and we had great chat together (already for that you hsve to visit Da'kayu). We lived next to a rice terrace which was great. The restaurant is almost 24/7 open or it felt like that. If you want to taste Bali you have to eat there, best Nasi Goreng in Bali so far (Warung). Bike rental was really cheap and its safe to drive around Munduk/Twin lake. The Owner Doni gives you some good tips if you don't know what to do, so don't worry about that.

There was no shelves to store our stuff but for futur visit, he will build some shelves. It was minor thing and not really disturbing

Doni was an excellent host and excellent communicator. We communicated via WhatsApp and he made sure I had the most pleasant stay. You are in a remote area staying in a very simple cabin that has just what you need for your stay. Doni went out of his way to prepare breakfast the way I liked it every morning and provided my favourite local fruits (banana, mangosteen & dragon fruit). Doni drove me around munduk and brought me to various waterfalls. He recommended 3 excellent restaurants that were clean and the food was incomparable!! His resort is lovely and very peaceful. Just what you need to enjoy a slow, relaxing morning each day. There were lots of bugs since you are living in a cabin however no mosquitos since the weather is quite cool in his location. Water bottles were provided to brush your teeth and for drinking. Location is perfect if you are looking to explore the town of munduk! You wake up to roosters and enjoy stunning sunsets. I highly recommend this homestay if you are looking for an opportunity to experience remote life, support a local family, and receive excellent hospitality.

The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable, offering wonderful views of the rice fields. Doni was truly exceptional—super friendly at all times, going out of his way to meet all our needs and provide excellent activity recommendations. The food was outstanding! You must try the noodle soup; it's simply a dream! The fried bananas served at breakfast were also delicious. I will certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and family. If you're looking for a fantastic room, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to stay!

Doni was a wonderful host. He picked us up in Ubud and we had a very nice talk in the car, sharing stories about the (shared) Dutch and Indonesian culture and history. The accommodation is very simple, but has an amazing view over the rice fields and the small town of Gobleg. We hired a well functioning scooter and had some nice trips to the waterfalls in the region of Munduk.

- Amazing location with a view on rice fields (with sunset view from the room!) - Munduk is one of our favourite places in Bali! - Very handy meal offers (good breakfast - included - and good dinner - to be paid separately) - They arranged for our transport and trekking/canoeing activities in the jungle/lake (500k RP for half a day/700k RP for full day) - Friendly and helpful staff

- No shampoo provided - the Bathroom was not particularly comfortable

Doni is awesome. Super chill and kind. He helps you with whatever you need. The room is airy and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and gets you ready for your day. The community is special - the surroundings and people were extra lovely. The nature is incredible - the culture is authentic without being contrived. A beautiful, down-to-earth and humbling trip away from capitalist society. My favourite place in Bali so far. I hope this place never changes.

Donny was an awesome host, he was happy to help with anything we needed. The homestay is situated beside rice fields and has a really peaceful vibe. Breakfast was yum and the balcony was perfect to chill out in the afternoon rain.

Nothing major, but the pillows were lumpy and we didn't get our room serviced on a 4 night stay and the outdoor bathroom got a little messy due to the rain. But all in all it was a great stay!

The location in the middle of nature is sensational. The homestay is simple yet functional, comfortable and cozy. Exactly what I was looking for to enjoy a quiet time in a remote area. The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was good. They didn’t serve lunch/dinner but recommended a warung nearby (3 min. walk) that served excellent food in a very nice environment

A mosquito net could be added to the rooms, but that’s my only remark.
