The location is very good for visiting the waterfalls. The view you wake up with is just amazing. You can feel like in a village from a romantic movie - everything is so calm and stress free.

Staff speaks english very bad, some of them doesn’t speak english at all. We got into the situation, where we asked for 2 small scooters for the next morning and agreed for the price IDR 100k per one. Next morning there was only one big scooter which was not the best for us and also the price was 150k. We took it and asked if there is enough fuel since the “empty” light was on. The helper said - it is all good, opened a gas tank and showed there is enough fuel. We rode for 11-13km and the scooter went off, had to push it back to home. When we tried to explain this to staff - they didn’t understood and just asked to pay for the bike..

Our stay at Villa Sande was exceptional. Mr. Brown and his team took great care of us. they were incredibly attentive and kind. You can enjoy delicious meals on-site, book relaxing massages, and even rent a scooter directly from the property. The villa is perfectly located in the heart of the rice fields, offering a peaceful and authentic experience. We highly recommend this place!

Beautiful location with friendly staff who can help you arrange a driver for a short trip into town or across the island. Thanks a lot for the coffee!

A minor point of improvement was the lighting in the restaurant area. For our taste the light there was a little too white whereas the rest of the resort does have warm lights with a cozy feel.

Beautiful scenery, worth the drive up to this gorgeous place. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was very good. Breakfast choices good and dinner was great local food. Room a good size, bed a little hard but everything else was great.

Great view od rice paddies and jungle canopy. Observing farmers using ingenious devices to protect harvest ready rice from birds was our highlight. Staff was very helpful and kind. Githa was especialy helpful. He even helpes us pump our deflated tire.

The villa is absolutely amazing and stunning. Everything is really perfect. Entering the villa, you will see well-kept grounds with a variety of trees and plants, beautiful ricefield and amazing distance sea view. We rented villa number 6 with stunning view ,rice filed,mountains and beautiful sunset ! Before entering you will see breathtaking and picturesque view of green territory and ocean. You can enjoy this view sitting on a terrace in front of your house. Individual attention should be given to villa’s staff. Every member of team is very helpful, cheerful and polite. It is a great pleasure to have small talks with them. The dinners cooked by the team is great and delicious, let them know on your arrival so they can prepare you the best meal you' ve ever had,either served at Restaurant or on your own villa on your choice ! I can say without any doubt that this is a rare instance when the pictures are not as perfect as a real place. The place is a lot above the expectations See you again soon! Thanks guys!

We should stay longer , at least 3 or 4 days to appreciate the place very much!

The staff! They're wonderful and really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We had a little accident with the scooter (on the windy roads that go up the mountain a truck occupied the whole road in one of the turns, we stopped but the truck driver wasn't paying attention and drove in to us). The Villa Sande staff was really concerned about us, made us banana pancakes and did everything in their power to help out with the scooter. It was so sweet. Their English is not great, but with a little help of Google translate they get there! The location is just amazing. You stay in a cabin that overlooks these beautiful rice paddies. The cabins have large windows, so you can open these when you wake up in the morning and enjoy a perfect start of the day. Everything works in the bathroom.

For us this was the perfect location, amidst the rice fields. If you want to be closer (walking distance) to the waterfalls and most restaurants this might not be the place for you though. However, you can easily rent a scooter at villa Sande, so really this shouldn't be a problem. There is no AC, but we found we didn't need one as temperatures go down in de evening. There are some mosquitos, which is why there's a mosquito-net in the cabin.

Location was good and staff were friendly and very helpful, lovely river nearby you can walk to and swim in, very clean and comfortable beds, nice cold swimming pool with room service option.

Restaurant food quality could be improved, we did not really enjoy the food there but breakfast was ok

Owners and staff were delightful, relaxed and efficient. They coulden't have been more helpful. A beautiful, quiet location with fantastic views. Bali as it should be.
