Nothing in this local style hotel. To get to the beach you have to cross a busy road - but well worth the effort.

Breakfast was traditional with egg of choice, toast and homemade jams (pineapple or papaya) and peanut butter, fried rice and fried noodles, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, juice, and either make your own gado gado, or salad. Staff was always helpful and went above and beyond! I extended my stay by 11 days I liked it here so much. Pool was cleaned every morning and had plenty of beach loungers. Room was cleaned daily, a kettle is provided and coffee tea and 1.5L water bottle was replenished daily. The landscaping is well maintained with beautiful colors of flowers and while I stayed in a lower level room (124) the view was spectacular with the sunset over the sea every night. Having many options of food at the restaurant was a bonus esp on evenings you just want to stay in. The pizza is very good, as is the fish and chips for when you want to break away from the traditional dishes. The pan seared traditional fish was divine with a perfect amount of spice (heat), though I felt it a little overcooked. Great place to stay and I highly recommend!

Cannot get over the price of this place for the quality of the stay! We only stayed one night but it was beautiful. Facilities and ground are all well maintained, rooms were older but very clean and tidy. Bed was a little squeaky but nothing too bad. Stunning ocean view from the balcony of the room and the buffet breakfast was great. Staff super friendly. Wish we were staying longer and would definitely book again! Recommend going up to “Sunset Dream Point” about 800m walk up the hill on google maps to watch the sunset. Locals set up food stalls and seating on the bridge, nothing fancy but lovely.

Lots of stairs up to the rooms. Not an issue at all for us but a consideration if you have mobility issues or trouble with stairs.

I like everything about this place, it also looks authentic and classical with a beautiful view, staff is very polite and personally interested 😊 Swimming pool is very nice and the showers are premium! Familiar faces, a very nice dutch owner too 😁 I highly recommend this place it's worth every penny from outside the season and inside the season !

I actually like everything about this place, the only thing I miss is a refrigerator, they should really fill all the rooms with a mini fridge so people can store cold drinks as I heard this from more visitors that they miss this a bit !

Staff very friendly and helpful. Our first night wasn’t so great as we were placed next to the road which was very noisy with motorbike traffic and a karaoke over the road. However after we mentioned this to reception the next morning, we were moved to a further away bungalow. This was much quieter! Breakfast was good.

Pool was very dirty the first day we arrived (loads of algae floating in the pool), but was cleaned that evening and did improve things for the rest of our stay. The shower water pressure was pretty poor.

The property’s location is absolutely amazing. It has shops, local cafes, laundry, restaurants, travel agencies within 500m. We enjoyed being able to walk to places and the pool was great too. The place is a bit dated but it is so beautiful and has its own beauty and charm. You may not like it so much if you love modern designs but we loved every single touch! Staffs were amazing too, breakfast was great, we would visit again for sure if we are in Senggigi.

I loved everything.

The cottages offer a lot of privacy, and the view from my balcony was amazing. The couple next to my cottage was thankfully rather quiet. I could hear them talk through the walls, but they went to bed early, so it wasn't a problem. On my first day, I had to leave before the breakfast started, so the staff prepared me a packed breakfast, consisting of toast, omelette with veggies, bananas and apple sauce. It was just perfect for what I needed. On the other days I had breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast room was comfortable and roomy, and the breakfast is all vegetarian, which I really enjoyed! The nasi goreng and mee goreng came with good sambal and kerepek, but there were also Western options. The fresh fruit was nice, and there was an egg (which I didn't try). I had chosen this hotel in part because it was relatively close to Bangsal harbour, where my ferry landed (and left), and where I needed to be to get to the Gilis for a snorkelling tour, but also because it was close to some restaurants. I underestimated how long it would take by taxi to get to the harbour (about 35-45 minutes), but I liked the quiet neighbourhood.

When I arrived, my room did not have any towels or toilet paper, and I had to ask 2x over the space of 4 or 5 hours to get them, and then it still took a while. There was a folder with information in the room, which stated that the hotel offered tours that you could book, but when I asked reception about it, they were surprised that this information was in the folder and told me that they didn't offer tours. The advertised "Free toiletries" were just two near-empty unlabelled soap dispensers. The bathroom sink was leaking, so the bathroom floor was always wet, which isn't a huge deal, but is annoying.

Large clean rooms. Balcony overlooking the sea, able to check the swell before leaving the room! Two chairs and a table outside on the balcony. Lots of storage and seats inside, large wardrobe, fridge, water,. Large clean bathroom, bigger than our home. Fantastic staff, good food, great pool . Beautiful garden and wood carved furniture. We had booked a surf camp,then went back to Puri Bunga after. Lovely Sasak ladies cooking delicious food on the street outside. It's our home away from home. Staff even provided umbrellas when the rain came.

Absolutely recommended. This hotel really deserves a high rating. We had a great time in every aspect. Professional working method, clean rooms and daily change of linen and towels. The breakfast is one of the best we have tried in Indonesia. Coffee, tea, orange juice, egg omelette, toast with butter, jams, savory rice and local fruit. The location is fantastic, just cross the street and you're at the beach. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Congratulations to everyone!

Close to the beach and the view is amazing - it also has a quiet big pool which is nice Food is very good and quiet cheep We enjoyed breakfast although it was not so much to choose from - we where absolutely fine with it Staff in general was amazing - very friendly and ready to help at anytime

Waterflow in the shower was really little and the shelves at the mirror was a loose You had to make sure to shower before 21o clock because water was turned off after that
