This was just a perfect weekend. The hotel has by far the best location. We just could not stop using the amazing outdoor pool built in a rock, direct access to the sea was ideal for us. The view over the sea and the old town is hypnotizing. Super friendly and helpful staff. Not only we got upgraded but also could stay longer in a room as our flight was past the check-out time. Ivana at the reception is a star! The beds are comfy. Breakfast was good. We could not expect more, we felt welcomed and comfortable. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful location, a short 10 min walk to Old Town! The main floor with the lounge and restaurants is quite comfortable and beautiful. Service was quick and front desk made an effort (despite some things to note in the room). NaturaBisse amenities worked wonders for skin

About 10 min walk past old town, great views over the water to Dubrovnik old town. Great terrace restaurant/bar to chill at the end of a hot day. Really cool ocean sunbathing area, right on rocks with direct access to ocean. Staff friendly and helpful as much as they can be.

the position of hotel makes it VERY difficult to call taxi’s or transfers. Couldn’t get a taxi cause it was raining (too much traffic) couldn’t get our pre-arranged (4 times) transfer on departure cause of too much traffic, again! Hotel also failed to provide arrival airport transfer, pre-booked once again.

The location is very good, oustide the old town so you do not get the noise at night, but close enough to just walk for sightseeing or dinner. The pool and seaside location are great for a rest and sunbathing. The seaside rooms are very cozy with great views. Overall the hotel was very nice and we had a very good stay.

The food options in the restaurants could be better for a 5*. The breakfast was good but the food at the pool restaurant and the evening restaurant were quite average. Limited menu as well.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. Every single member of staff we interacted with was as helpful as they could possibly be, professional and personable. They made our stay fantastic. The spa area is lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms are also spacious and a pleasure to use. The food and drink we had there was also excellent. The hotel location is idea for easy access to the old town and the beach.

We had an air con issue in our first room which the staff did everything to fix as quickly as possible but when they were unable to they apologise and found us another room so for us this was no issue because it was resolved so professionally.

A very lovely hotel. I stayed in Villa Odak with terrace and stunning sea view. The hotel is very close to the old town. The room was super spacious and very clean and classy. Staff were very polite and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. You get to order what you like from a menu plus other food on buffet. On the day of check-out, we had to leave very early. But the breakfast was all ready that early waiting for just the two of us.

I would consider this hotel high end. The views starting from the check-in area is stunning. The hallways, rooms, everywhere is spotless. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The breakfast is spectacular - both cold and hot choices. Lots of waitstaff looking around to make sure everyone is taken care of. I also like that they have young people on their staff - probably training them right out of high school. My only regret about staying here is that I didn't bring swim clothes. The pool at this hotel is amazing - indoors, heated and enormous. I wish I took a picture of the pool. My description here does not do it justice.

A gorgeous, chic, upscale hotel in the perfect location and most beautiful views. 5 minute walk to the city walls. The staff were lovely and helped me book excursions, ferries, and cars without any hassle. The included breakfast every day was spectacular - a lovely buffet spread with all you could need, plus a menu with made to order eggs, etc. I also had a facial AND a massage which were both incredible! I traveled to several destinations in Croatia and Hotel Excelsior was by far my favorite destination. Very worth the money.

The beds were a bit stiffer than I like, but maybe that is my own preference.

Beautiful hotel in a superb location. Breakfast was exceptional overlooking the old town and the sea. The lounge area by the water was very cool and the indoor pool and different saunas was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here afain.

It would have been nice if the hotel had some float toys or even a pad in the water to swim up to. But this was only minor. Hotel was a very nice experience.

Everything from the check in process to access and walking proximity to the old town. The staff was professional, polite and helpful and answering all of my questions and assisting in booking tour excursions. The buffet breakfast along the sea coast was also excellent with an incredible view of the Adriatic sea and the old town.. The view from my room's terrace was unbelievable. I did not want to leave the hotel! I would definitely return to this hotel.

Housekeeping staff member who walked into my room without knocking first and asking if guest was inside the room. She apologized. It was no big deal. She offered tea bags.
