This is a very charming hotel close to the downtown. The rooms have decent sized beds and good sized washrooms. There is a bar fridge with drinks and a coffee maker provided. A steamer is included for ironing your clothes. The restaurant is amazing. We had an excellent dinner there. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The elevator is large, unlike many places where we have stayed in Europe. Parking is available at the back of the building.

One of the rooms was to have twin beds and did not, although we were told it did when we checked in. This same room had a small balcony. The people in the next room sat on theirs until quite late, smoking, so we could smell the tobacco smoke in our room. The windows were open for some cool air as there is no air conditioning. This would not have been a problem except for the tobacco smoke. Smoking on the balconies is obviously allowed by the hotel, since they supply ashtrays.

I stay there second time and it is very lovely hotel with nostalgic vibe, nice restaurant and breakfast, great location and hotel stays out from standard chain hotels

facilities could be modernized and improved, you can also hear noises from the street because of thin windows but that is what you get if you stay in historical house

Lovely hotel in picturesque Drøbak.

The vegetarian dinners served throughout the week were smaller and less filling than the regular meals served. Please ask the cook to make sure vegetarian options include protein and at least as much food as non vegetarian options. There were at least 6 vegetarians in our group and these dinner options were mostly pasta without protein and relatively disappointing. We needed extra food after. This trend toward non meat options is not going to disappear. Try to improve your menu or you will lose customers.

Very cozy Hotel close to the Fjord iwith nice view. The host and employee was very friendly and basically everything was a positive experience. The burger was perfect :)

Bar/reception staff were extremely friendly and had such a good vibe. There were some drunk and rude guests, but they managed them like professionals. 👍

Very beautiful and cozy hotel, has a good homey feeling and location is perfect aswell, 2min from the water and downtown, the staff was very nice and caring and they let us checkout late

Thank you very much to the entire team of the hotel. From the "welcome" over the stay to the "good by" it feels like to stay with good friends. A visit at the restaurant is a must have during your stay.
