The hotel is an old one, dating back to the communist era, and has been brought into the 21st century through renovation. The rooms are comfortable and clean, they have a balcony, the garden is wonderful, and the staff is polite. They offer free parking.

Extra pay for air conditioning is a huge minus. Also, they gave us the remote control, but they didn't tell us that the power was cut off from the power control panel. When we asked at the reception desk, they said it should work and didn't try to fix the problem. So we paid for AC but didn't have it. Luckily, it wasn't necessary. No shampoo/shower gel is provided. Just two small bars of soap. The wifi is really slow. Not exactly close to the beach, as other reviewers claim. In fact, a ten- to fifteen-minute walk is rather the farthest you can get in such a small resort.

Just everything. This journey was a part of my project "return in time" and going to Venus was something like a journey to my past, when along with my parents and sister we used to spend our family holidays right in these places around (more than 30 years ago). BTW this was right the place where I, like a child, first ever saw the sea !!! I felt almost the same feelings and felt like a child / teenager again. The hotel is perfectly clean, quiet, the entrance is full of flowers, everywhere around is beautiful green garden, trees, the refreshing smell of the nature is just everywhere. Wonderful! I walked, the same like years ago, from Venus to Aurora, Jupiter, Neptun, wow, the coast, beaches, hotels, shops, nature, just a paradise, real holiday paradise ... The same from Venus to Saturn, beautiful ... ... and after all the walking and memories come back in my mind, I touched the sea, gave my body to its a bit cold arms and ... I felt like re-born. This journey was absolutely WONDERFUL !!!

Very good value for the money. It’s the second time we stay here. Pretty close to the beach if you don’t mind to walk a couple of hundred meters (approx 600-700 m). We found the room clean. Everything was as we expected. It is a very decent 2 stars hotel. Very appropriate for a weekend getaway.

Nothing to complain about. Like almost all old hotels here in Venus it doesn’t provide breakfast, but there are at less two nearby takeaways so you won’t be hungry.

Loved it. For 2 starts it is absolutely the best that I've seen at the Romanian Seaside. Polite staff, super clean room and bathroom ( we have 2 kids, so I moved the beds near a wall, and underneath it was just as clean as the rest ), comfy beds ( the mattresses looked brand new ), nostalgic rocking chair in the balcony, with a small coffee table and an additional small chair, hanging thread to dry clothes and cable tv with cartoons :D. Fridge was very useful and worked properly. While the bathroom had a tad of old here and there, everything was perfectly functional and hot water was almost instantly provided ( unlike other 2 star communist marvels in which you'd have to wait and hope for hot water to take a shower). There was also AC available, but we didn't need it. I think there's an extra charge for it. However, if needed, it's there, which itself is an advantage. The wardrobe was a bit wobbly, so the clothes hangers would rattle when opening the door, but it wasn't too much of a problem. All in all, whatever small inconveniences I could find were as non-existent. This hotel redefines the concept of 2 stars hotel ( in my opinion, in Romania, at least ) and it's the best bang for your buck that you can get. There's a bar at the reception which, albeit a bit expensive, is very useful for sweets, snacks and beer :D. The outside yard has tables and a children's playground, which once again, were very pleasant surprises.

The only downside is the location, in my opinion. It's a bit further from the sea and there's definitely no sea view. But for us It wasn't a problem, as we went to a different beach anyway, by car. I would recommend more parking spaces, though. It can get pretty crowded on the street

It is conveniently located in a quiet area, about 10 minutes walk from the beach. It's not very modern but everything is well maintained and super clean. It also has a nice garden to relax in the evening and also a private, fencedveey parking lot.

The property exceeded our expectations. The staff is amazing, the rooms are spacious and clean, we had a fridge, air conditioning, a nice balcony and insect nets. Fast wifi, great location and the garden is wonderful.

We loved everything.

Small, comfortable room, clean towels and bed linens, running water with good presure. It was a nice, short stay.

They didn't have an AC. Small bathroom. These two aspects weren't actually negative points. We could have had a room with AC for an extra fee, but it was shadowy from the balcony.

I booked the hotel for my mother and her husband - they really enjoyed their stay.

Nice and cozy place, near the beach, with extremely friendly staff! Make sure you get a room with AC and you won’t be disappointed
