Everything. What a gem of a hotel. Family run with Johanna managing this charming hotel in a beautiful small town in Cascia Terma. Directly opposite the thermal springs. (We went twice) We were greeted warmly every day by the staff with Johanna on hand to offer great info about places to visit and local restaurants. She makes the cakes for the lovely breakfast daily and also makes the apricot and cherry jam which are locally picked. Special mention to the jolly breakfast waiter! Lovely clean pool with plenty of loungers. Parking on site and easy access. We were there for the Bocelli concert in Lajatico and Johanna had booked minibuses to the concert for those that wanted them. Room was lovely and clean with pool view, with high ceilings and great cold air con in room 118. Few minutes walk to the charming town square with good restaurants.

Perfect location and service, especially for Bocelli concert. Pool, breakfast and general friendly atmosphere. Helpfulness of the entire team was exceptional. The town central square was also expectantly peaceful and beautiful.

Our room could have been a little brighter.

Nice old fasion hotel opposite to terms. Lovely people managing the hotel, happy to support and chat with you as well as advise some nice places in the neighbourhood. Clean pool surrounded with some trees and plants. Had a really nice time there.

Breakfasts could be more attractive and missed various selection of vegetables.

Giovanna and Bellarmino were so welcoming and made us feel like family. Nothing was too much trouble and all their restaurant recommendations were perfect. Such a relaxing stay and a fantastic pool and spacious room. Giovanna arranged transport to Andrea Bocelli’s concert and they were still up at 2.45am to welcome us back!

The hosts Giovanna and her team were amazing so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and clean. A quaint quiet town in the heart of Tuscany. Lots of vineyards to visit in the area. Hosts welcomed us home after Andrea Bocelli concert after midnight.

Beautiful old Italian hotel with a great swimming pool. Giovanna provided exceptional service including arranging transport for the Bocelli concert and being there when we arrived back at 1.00am. But this is just one example of how she was available to help and advise pretty much every minute of every day.

Very minor niggles like a shortage of sockets in the room and poor wi-fi unless in and around the lobby but nothing to detract from the overall authentic Italian experience.

The owners!! Jovana (sp.?) is an exceptional host. Parking on the property was big! The outdoor areas were delightful, included a pool. Our breakfast waiter was so wonderful

Very pleasant and helping staff, great cleanliness of the rooms, plenty of breakfast choises, very great ambient in a small calm city. Private free parking to leave the car and go around the town by foot. Plenty of posibilities to go out in the evenings for a drink or to eat. Very recomendable.

The best hospitality you can find in Italy. The best Italian cuisine restaurants within 5 min walk. Thermo baths in opposite side of the street. Hotel owners gladly guide you and help you to make needed reservations. 10+ out of 10!

Exceptionally lovely staff. The property itself is fascinating and a wonderful place to stay. A lot of character diminished with history, simple comfort and style. A truly superb breakfast - nothing too much trouble. Excellent value and one of those stays that was better than expected Didn’t use the pool area but it looked really good
