Beautiful castle surrounded by a lovely garden with a pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with king-size beds and two pillows, very comfy for a good night’s sleep. However, there was no separate shower—only a worn jacuzzi bathtub with a shower inside, which wasn’t ideal for washing hair. Breakfast was not included in the stay; it could be booked, but was rather expensive. The girl at reception was kind and welcoming. There’s a small bar inside the castle’s restaurant, but there weren’t many staff available for bar service.

The castle offers breathtaking views, timeless charm, and a peaceful atmosphere that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The accommodation perfectly combines historic elegance with modern comfort. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local recommendations. The castle has also a restaurant. The location is ideal for exploring nearby towns like Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa (aprox 40 min driving) Lucca, Livorno.

We spent a lot of time deciding where to stay in Tuscany, and when we found this beautiful castle hotel, we were absolutely breathless just looking at the photos. We decided immediately to book here, and it seems like this was the best decision we could have made. We were greeted with incredible kindness and warmth, we could charge our electric car, and we enjoyed a stunning room with an amazing view throughout our three-day stay—something truly unique. If someone dreams of staying at the most beautiful spot in Tuscany, this is the perfect choice. I highly, highly recommend it. The breakfast was divine, and we are especially grateful to Carlotta at reception for all her help. She’s the most wonderful person we’ve ever met—big hugs to her!

A little rustic around the edges- no ironing boards in the rooms, but there was a dedicated ironing room, with some irons and boards, but it was swelteringly hot and the lights didn’t work!

I really much did enjoy my stay at the Castle. Carlotta who is taking care of everything is really an amazing person, full of positive Energy. She really knows everything about and around the Castle. Once you get to the parking just call the Hotel and they will pick you up with all your stuff. I got a free welcome drink at the family run restaurant and had Dinner there as well. What a lovely place and the food and service was excellent. Breakfast was also incredibile, homemade cakes just soooooo good. I also got and upgrade (travelling by myself) and i got the honeymoon room (Number 14) that was funny ...not going to spoil this one though. If you want a fantastic view and a romantic room, Just ask for Number 14. Everything was nice and clean and very quite. Definitely a Place to relax and to return in future. Everything! Complete positive impact on my vacation and 10/10 experience. It is a super chill and romantic place to have a vacation away from the city and enjoy Tuscany. Special regards to the kind staff, especially to Roberto, Carlotta, and Laura, and to the house cat, Misco. The restaurant has awesome food with a chill vibe and a good selection of wine. The pool is also very nice. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. The location is good, close to the main road and not much drive away from main towns and Florence. Definitely coming back here!

The room was massive (we booked a suite and it was honestly more space than we needed), the pool was perfect, and the grounds/view were beautiful! The staff helped organize great activities (massage, wine tasting, and truffle hunting), and were helpful booking taxis since we didn't bring a car.

It's a little far from the train, but it wasn't a problem because getting a taxi at the train was easy and the hotel booked a taxi for the way back. The restaurant was pleasant but the food was just ok and much more expensive than other restaurants we went to on the trip.

When we arrived we got a free room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. The hostess was very friendly, showed us around, talked about the history of the place and future plans (for example they were building a gym and a massage room). Room was exceptionally clean and big. The place was peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was one of the best we had in our trip around Tuscany. There was a nice pool and a little garden with orange trees. The whole experience made us feel very welcomed and I would probably stay there again in the future. Wines at the restaurant tasted amazing.

My personal opinion is that the food is a little too expensive at the restaurant.

The most amazing place! The room, the view, the hospitality was one of the best that we've ever experienced. The staff, Mrs. Carlota that greeted us and showed us the place, was an amazing woman. So nice, welcoming and friendly. The place is so so beautiful, so quiet. It feels so calming to your soul and safe. The castle is amazing. Beautiful room, clean, beautiful pool and view. Also the food, breakfast was so tasty and fresh. The waiters as well were very hosting. Also thank you to Mrs. Laura, who together with Mrs. Carlota and the team, helped me plan my proposal to my girlfriend which turned out so so , beautiful and romantic. Also thank you to Mrs. Laura for capturing the amazing moment. Thankful to both of them for arranging the romantic spot, the bouquet and the candle. Many thanks to them and also to the waiter that recently joined their team (apologies for not knowing the name) for his unwavering friendliness and generosity. All of it, was a trip that will be in our memories and we can't wait to be back and hope very much to see the same people again since they were really incredible people. Thank you to everyone and also to the owners/managers of the castle that we haven't met, for having such an incredible place and staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The possibility to stay on an actual castle is not something you see every day. The place is incredible, located on top of a Tuscan hill with amazing views and surroundings. The rooms are huge but super cozy, with a great bathroom with jacuzzi and a Scottish shower as well as a regular one. The staff was super nice specially Laura who gave us extremely helpful information regarding the surroundings and best routes to continue our trip by car. The bistro is excellent with a great ambience and service. Would definitively recommend staying here.
