I was very pleased with my stay at McDreams Hotel Stuttgart-City. The hotel is extremely well located, with easy access to public transportation and just a few minutes from the center of Stuttgart. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and exceptionally clean — truly spotless. An interesting aspect is that the hotel has no physical reception; the entire check-in and check-out process is handled electronically. It worked perfectly for me and was very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The only downside was the shower: the water temperature fluctuated a lot during use, switching between very hot and cold regardless of how the mixer was adjusted. This is something that could definitely be improved to enhance guest comfort.

It was all nice and cozy in the room. Overall a good experience and close to U-bahn after ehich just 2 stations leed to the town center.

Don't like part was realy stresfull and I must write this. It is related to online check-in. In reality it is a nightmare. I came to Stuttgart and my link wasn't working at all. Online service told me that they have no reservation on my name. 4 hours took them to finaly send the right link. Not cool and pleasant. Actually there is someone at hotel who can help, but you don't know it haha. If the problem arise, just go there. Many thanks to Max!

We literally just slept in the hotel and it was perfect for what we needed. Room is quite spacious, bathroom too, TV is nice and big. All the automatic stuff worked perfectly (checkin, checkout, opening of all the doors with mobile phone, garage). A lot of reviewers complained about extremely hot water in the shower but we didn’t have that problem. The bar and breakfast area are lovely and the terrace as well. There are vending machines for drinks (there’s beer and wine!), snacks and coffee. Only disappointment was the breakfast. There is enough choice but it is too expensive for what you get - quality of the food could be better and the choice could be bigger. Eggs were nice but the lack of bacon made is sad :(

I had a great overall experience, especially because I booked well in advance and got a very good price. The room, although a bit small, was exactly what I needed. When I arrived, it was quite clean, and the location is also a big plus — just a 5-minute walk to the metro, and the city center is only a few stops away.

I had some difficulty using the check-in app, mainly because I couldn’t switch the language to English. There was a water issue on the second day — the temperature fluctuated a lot, and at times it could suddenly get extremely hot. I even heard someone yell from the next bathroom, so it seems I wasn’t the only one affected. Luckily, this only happened on one day out of the nine I stayed. Another downside was that, even though we had placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign, the cleaning staff entered and cleaned the room that day while we were out — we would have preferred this on another day. Also, on the day of check-out, the cleaning guy entered the room at 10:30 AM while we were still inside, even though we hadn't checked out yet and the "Do Not Disturb" tag was still hanging on the door.

It is located in a good position as I could easily book Uber or taxi freely There were shops/ MC Donald where food was not a problem WiFi which was good Hot water too was excellent

The only challenge I faced was when I was coming as road were all blocked because of road works which actually stressed me Also a colleague of mine booked the hotel for two nights but instead came the following day in the morning tired but his name was not on the list and he showed all his receipts but he was told to wait for the manager to come which took time and he was actually tired since he travelled over night and arrived there in the morning

The mattresses are really good - this is a key point for us. The cleanliness is nice and the staff cleaning are doing a good job, they are also very friendly (most don't speak German but you could feel the care). Also the location is very close to where we work and it was perfect for that reason.

You have to get used to it that there is no reception. Sometimes it is really hard to get a reservation question answered. Eventually I found a staff who is there from 11am who was very friendly and helpful and my issue was solved. The rooms, as we had different ones from basic to comfort, to be honest. I didn't notice any difference, really, none. So these few Euros difference is not really measurable. The room is a bit small and there is not much space to put your clothes, but for a shorter trip it is enough.

The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was relatively straightforward, but it would be difficult if you are an international visitor with limited internet access, as everything is done online, and you only get the online key access just hours before your check-in. The location was very good as there is trams and train connections a short walk away and it doesn't take long to get into the centre city.

On-street parking is free, but we found it impossible to park during the few days we were there. Every time we checked, the area was fully parked out, so we were forced to pay the hotel's extortionate parking fees.

I thought the room itself was spot on. Decent size, clean, modern, everything in it you needed. Check in and door key on the app was a breeze, no issues. Smart TV and WiFi both good. Location great, just a few minutes walk to the tram/subway that takes you straight into the centre

Unfortunately my shower was just going between ice cold and boiling hot. Such a shame as everything else was perfect. But all I really need from a room is for it to be clean, have a comfy bed and a decent shower. I also thought the parking was a little expensive when you're a guest of the hotel, but probably for the area it is not that bad.

The hotel is really nice, with easy and quick acces to city center, main train station and airport. Check-in and check-out are done via their website and they have digital keys, giving the liberty to conveniently do these processes depending on your arrival/departure. The room was very clean, with comfortable bed and bathroom is equiped with towels and toiletries. In the lobby there is a bar for a quick evening drink and vending machines with snacks.

I received a phishing message from the hotel directly via Booking chat, asking to give my card details and pay once again. I contacted the hotel on their main website and confirmed it is a phish, they answered quickly and assured my booking is confirmed and everything is ok for my stay. Pay attention to this if happening in the future and better double check with the hotel on their original website to avoid to be scamed.

10/10 overall experience and so value for money. The concierge pre contacted me, and helped me with the pre arrival check in. There is no front desk, however, the check in and key collection is easy procedure. In case you have any request/ inquiry, the concierge is always there to help, making the service personalised - shout out to Diana! The room was great, big enough for 2 people, comfortable bed, nice view, hot water. The breakfast had a variety of options. The location of the hotel is perfect - just 2 stops away of Hbf and 3 from Schlossplatz. Thank you for the great hospitality and really enjoyed Stuttgart.
