From the moment we arrived Liliana and Nicola were helpful and very patient with numerous questions and advice. B&B Iris is an authentic part of Italy. There are tourists in the area, but Laterza does not have the same tourist pressure as Matera. It is only a short drive to Matera, so it is the best of both worlds. Iris serves an excellent breakfast with a good choice, in fact the best we had over our two weeks in the South. A big shower with lots of hot water. There is also a genuine Trattoria nearby, which again is frequented by locals and also serves local dishes. Highly recommended and a place we would go to again.

Breakfast was perfect. Fresh made cakes, pastries delicious, my wife and I were delighted. Wonderful very helpful staff, we felt like very welcome guests. Always was place for car in the street.

It is located in the old center in Laterza, which is very good starting point to Matera, Alberobello, sea,… Very nice, clean cosy place, very helful hosts, amazing breakfast in the dining room, where you eat together with other guests… Homemade cakes,… Parking in the street, a good trattoria across the street, terrace with the view on the first floor… Recommend ❤️

Our room was large, comfortable (great shower) and quiet, plus it was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We also enjoyed a great restaurant around the corner. The staff were so responsive and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and filling.

Liliana is an extremely friendly and welcoming host and also gave us some recommendations for our itinerary and for dinner options in Laterza - we ended up having one of the best meals of our trip at the restaurant she suggested! Laterza is a small town and a good base for a hike in the Laterza canyon (gravina di Laterza)

A nice and clean apartment in the center of an Italian town. The host waited for us and helped us park the car in the nearby garage. All published pictures fully correspond to reality.
