Arriving at Agriturismo Ninja Rosa was like being welcomed at your grandparents home! Signore Michele greeted us and enlisted his son, Vincenzo, to assist us to our rooms. Every morning we were welcomed to our own table with an abundance of breakfast treats and great espresso! Vincenzo and Antonio assisted us with touring, reservations and dining advice. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

We arrived and Antonio took us under his wing making sure we knew everything (almost) about our accommodation and what to see and where to go in Matera. The rooms were excellent and the facilities very clean and quite new. The AC worked well. Breakfast was interesting as many of the little dishes were already on our table so we could tuck in. Some other things like the bigger Croissants were available when you requested them. We didn’t get asked if we wanted anything hot. One of our party is vegetarian and ther were plenty of options for her.

I was slightly disappointed that we couldn’t walk into Matera from where we were staying. I thought i had read that we could in the Booking blurb. Probably my mistake. (Yes definitely my mistake!)

what an experience. this is not agritourism, it is something more. coming here you will not want to leave. beautiful location and surroundings, wonderful employees who make sure that you lack nothing. they showed us where to eat, what to see. the room full of comfort, many a hotel could hide. huge space, clean, warm, cozy. available common room where coffee is waiting. and breakfast? ah, one of the best things that happened to us. fruit, quiche, croissant, hams, cheeses and delicious coffee. I will gladly come back and recommend further

Cleanliness, service, communication, breakfast, surroundings

The peace and quiet surrounded by nature when waking up every day was heaven sent bonus ! The rooms were enormous and cleaned to perfection every day together with our towels changed on a daily basis . Breakfast with typical savoury food and accompanied by croissants and cakes too. Staff welcoming and extremely helpful together with the owner

We loved this ♥️ our son (1 year and 10 months)really enjoyed running on the turf and the small play area with the slide and a small playhouse. We even saw the sheep’s. The breakfast was delicious. Different types of food and beverages. Staff were super making sure we were ok. They even provided us the map and a small booklet with matera attractions and suggested restaurants and parking. There were loads of free empty space for parking . Our room was super clean under the furniture and under the bed. Beautiful views from our room. It was a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature ♥️♥️

It was lovely being out in the countryside but still only 15 minutes by car to Matera and restaurants etc. Nice walks in the nearby Murgia National Park up the hill.The rooms are large and comfortable and furnished to a high standard. There is a washing machine available in the adjacent camping area which came in handy.Breakfast was good and staff helpful and friendly. Nice touch giving us a gift of pasta in leaving.

Staff was very friendly, provided us with information on where to park in Matera, suggestions for what to visit, and where to eat. Breakfast was great, they put a lot of effort into it. Room and bed were comfortable and clean. If you are by car and want to visit Matera, this is the place to be.

The view from our room was on the cement factory, but that is just a very minor point.

A small, welcoming and architecturally beautiful “resort” that also offered privacy. The suites appeared new and were spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were lovely. We enjoyed the very large covered patio. It was a few kilometres out of Matera but that was not a problem since we had a car. The countryside was quiet and pleasant. The breakfast that was included was fantastic with a variety of foods and coffee. Very good value!

It was all wonderful.

The accommodation was extremely clean and offered a nice break from the busy city centre, just a 10-minute drive away. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was extraordinary – absolutely delicious! The kind man at reception even walked us to our room and showed us everything with such pride in what they’ve built.

Nothing to dislike. I didn’t get to see the sheep :( I think it would be cool if they had some sort of activity just as an idea.
