it was a very nice days in the villa, which is situated in a very calm, relaxing area away from any disturbance or noise. The location is very good, as it's near to the center (around 10–20 minutes) by car or bike. The villas are near a main road in Ubud, on which there's a secondary small road leading to the villas (around 100 m from the main road), where you can find restaurants, grocery stores, and a money exchange office. There are 2 cafes near the villas and 2 Gymes within 2–3 minutes walking distance. i do recommend using the "Grab application" if you don't have a vehicle, as can order a car or a bike and it will arrive just in front of the villas. And also, this app can be used to order meals or groceries, which will make the stay more beautiful and relaxing. Everything about the villas is likeable and beautiful: the bedroom, the pool, the small kitchen...And no one will regret choosing it. And this will not pass without mentioning the host: Mr. Sumaba, a wonderful person who is very helpful and answers questions at any time.

We loved everything about the "Ubud paradise villas," and it would be an important addition to have a microwave in the kitchen.

Excellent facility, very spacious, with large comfortable bed, fantastic private swimming pool. Very welcoming and helpful staff, excellent location outside the crowded downtown area but close to good restaurants (although you might need a scooter to go around). They welcomed us with a bathtub full of flowers and other various flower arrangements. The kitchen is fully functional and we could cook our dinner a couple of times. Big smart TV in case you are stuck inside during a rainy evening. Scooter rental is just next door. We also enjoyed silence and privacy.

All perfect, just a few details that could be improved like sweeping under the bed to avoid accumulation of dust, the bin in the toilet needs a lid. The area around is quite rural, so if you want to avoid unwanted animals to go inside, you'll need to keep the door closed.

Whether it’s your first, or tenth stay in Bali, Ubud Paradise Villa will be the perfect place for you. Sumaba and his team were super attentive, and addressed any and all concerns. The location is secure, quiet and in a beautiful part of Ubud — close to Campuhan Ridge Walk, and a few short steps from the villa you will find a lovely cafe and massage areas. Don’t forget to get the breakfast from Sumaba and team each morning as they have a fantastic variety (best pancakes I have ever had). They also provide laundry and car service, all very affordable. The villa itself is pristine clean, and excellently designed. The bed is comfortable, pool is warm and refreshing. The shower had great pressure and very rarely ran out of hot water. I do not have a single complaint to make about this accomodation, I originally booked 7 days, but extended my stay for 2 days over the weekend, as I enjoyed it so much. I feel very lucky that this was my first pick for a stay in Bali, and so will you! Absolutely everything was 10/10. Thank you Sumaba and team!!

We really enjoyed our stay at in Villa 2 at Paradise Villa in April. The villa was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The private pool was a highlight—super clean and perfect for cooling off after a hot afternoon in Ubud. The garden was well cared for and added a peaceful, tropical feel to the whole place. The location was great for us. It’s about 10 minutes from central Ubud, but Grab taxis were easy and affordable (about $7 nz and usually arrived within 5 minutes). It was actually a bonus to be away from the busy centre—returning to the quiet villa after a day in town felt like a retreat. Sumaba and his team were outstanding. They helped us get settled by taking us into town on the first day, arranged laundry, and tried to get us a last-minute massage (we just didn’t book early enough!). They also helped organise a driver for a day trip, which we loved. Communication was excellent throughout—they were responsive and kind, especially over WhatsApp. Breakfast was lovely, and everything the team arranged for us was well priced and convenient. We had no issues during our stay and left feeling relaxed and very well looked after.

This place absolutely exceeded our expectations!! It only is rated 3 stars online, but you really get the 5 star experience staying here. It made our trip absolutely heaven to be staying here. The staff have excellent customer service. Everyday they would come and clean the pool, bring us the most beautiful breakfasts, tidy our room, and answer any of our questions or requests for services. The owner even gave us a little parting gift when we left - so sweet! The villa itself is in the perfect location. Away from the madness and noise of Ubud markets. But plenty close to gym, walks, and heaps of restaurants. If you want to get to the markets and the busier end, it's only a $5.5 Grab ride away. It also has wifi and Netflix for the days where you might want to just do a bit more chilling. The local masseuse is also excellent - they can arrange for them to come and massage you in the room. We did this everyday and was amazing! The bed was also super comfy and the pancake breakfast is to die for! We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated like royalty and have a patch of secluded paradise in the heart of Ubud. We will definitely stay here again!

Nothing - completely perfect

My friend and I stayed at Ubud Paradise villa in January 2024. It was one of the best vacations I've ever had because of beautiful locations and staying. Ubud Paradise villa is located in the heart of Ubud close to markets, laundries, numerous shops and restaurants. We went there by foot! Rice fields, monkey forest, beautiful temples and other must see locations are just few kilometers away. The service is excellent with the staff always ready to help and respond to any requests. Cleaning is done thoroughly. The villa itself is clean, stylish and spacious. It has a kitchen, pool, lounge chairs, bathroom, and tropical shower. Breakfasts were divine and varied! Always fresh fruits and desserts. During our stay we felt attention and care of our host. He organized a short trip to the most beautiful places in Ubud, conducted the Melukat ceremony for us and provided airport transfer. I would like to express my deep gratitude to our host for the warm welcome and a really great care of us! If you're going to Ubud, choose this place!

The villa was superb. The bed was very comfortable and the interior was excellent with a high roof and a nice bathtub and shower. We didn't use the tv much. The garden was beautiful and well maintained, the location was peaceful and quiet, and the little pool was a perfect place to relax—though its design could be improved a bit, as we often bumped our knees on the oversized step. Still, everything was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. There were a few ants and bugs, but that's to be expected in Ubud and didn’t bother us. The staff were lovely—very accommodating and friendly—and the breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and generous. Shops and convenience stores were all within easy walking distance. We also booked a massage at the villa—while it was a little pricey by Ubud standards, it was still enjoyable. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a larger villa, which we were very grateful for! The privacy was great, although one staff member did enter without knocking once, which felt a bit intrusive. Otherwise, service was excellent. We stayed during Nyepi (the Balinese "Day of Silence"), which we hadn’t known about beforehand—when everyone is required to stay indoors. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as we spent the whole day lounging by the pool, soaking up the serenity. Overall, it was an exceptional experience and one of the highlights of our trip. I definitely recommend paying a little more for the larger villa—it's worth it for an unforgettable stay.

Some bugs here and there inside and outside the villa, but nothing to worry about. A little far to walk from the main hub of Ubud, but a short drive away. The toilet seat was also broken on arrival

This villa is located in a quiet rural village away from the center of Ubud. If you tell us the menu via WhatsApp every evening, breakfast will be prepared at the table facing the pool the next morning. It is nice to be able to enjoy swimming and relaxing in the private pool at any time. There are small restaurants, cafes, and gyms nearby, so you can use them conveniently. There is a convenience store about 5-10 minutes away from the main road.

Unfortunately, the villa I stayed in did not have photos on booking.com. I was not dissatisfied with the facilities, but if possible, it would be better to post detailed photos of each room so that guests do not get confused.

I am glad and very blessed to have chosen this accommodation to celebrate my anniversary. Everything was so good. The boss is a very nice and friendly person. There is also a shuttle service to the city. Breakfast was also really good. Loved the pancakes with a choice of mango, banana, strawberry and even dragon fruit fillings. The other items on the breakfast menu were also presented with good quality standards. The villa was very clean and the ambience was really nice and romantic for us. We were sad that we had to leave the villa to go home. We will come back to this villa again in our next visit to Bali. Don't hesitate to book it. You will not regret it.

Thoughtfully designed private villas with plunge pools located down a semi-rural lane away from the bustle of central Ubud. Everything was seamless from my airport pickup to my transportation to my next location in Bali. Super host Sumaba is an Ubud local with many years experience in the hospitality industry and it shows, as hospitality was the standout feature of my stay. The included breakfasts were absolutely amazing and I was treated to some added Balinese specialties, making every morning a real feast. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom very spacious, the spring-fed pool was delicious at the end of a busy day and the small kitchen/eating area with tea/coffee-making facilities was a perfect place to start the day. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, and I recommend Balinese Home Cooking who will deliver via WhatsApp. The surrounding scenery is stunning and Sumaba and son Angga are happy to drive you to local attractions as a day trip, as well as drop you into Ubud (2 kms or about a 15minutes drive away). Overall a charming property and a wonderful experience.

These aren’t dislikes as such, but be aware that the streets in rural Bali are very narrow and not well-maintained, and pavements can be difficult to navigate so it’s not that easy to get around and you’ may need to rely on transport into Ubud. As the property backs onto a banana plantation as well as several rice fields there will be some insects including ants, although I didn’t find it a particular problem during my stay.
