A standard Ibis - exactly what you expect, provides everything you need and even a little bit more, a solid, reliable hotel. Check-in and out was super easy and quick, the bed was comfortable (except for the pillows), breakfast was nice. There was free juice and the option to store your luggage there.

The pillows were extremely soft and useless, I woke up with a crick in my neck every morning.

The room was clean and very nice, and the choices on offer at breakfast was good. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful at all times. The location of the hotel is nicely placed to offer easy access into the city.

A little more storage for clothes in the room would have been useful, and the lack of tea/coffee making facilties was also a little disappointing. The restaurant evening menu would benefit from being slightly more expansive.

The staff where very friendly especially oceane who was so nice and friendly to me as guest also checked if I needed anything and had smile everyday and conversation she is a credit to hotel all the staff were friendly and the room was nice basic but very clean comfortable bed . And it is close to the city once u get the hang of the trams u can get there easily . The area is lovely overall I taught for the price I paid I got great value for money and I would definitely return to this hotel if ur looking for somewhere safe comfortable and ran by great staff come here I hope il be back sooner than later

The shower the water would go very hot then very cold it was only thing I really had to complain about and also I got bit lost as there is 3 hotels with the same name but are marked green blue and red which had me bit confused when I arrived but overall brillant stay

The hotel was very good value for money, All areas of the hotel were clean, and the staff were always helpful. The bar had a limited choice, but there was always something to drink. The hotel was on the Airport tram line into Bordeaux and at 1.8 euros and 30 minutes we were checked - in

The restaurant was closed on the Friday and the weekend. Breakfast was the standard continental. As it was busy I had to ask to get items replenished. You had to place the eggs in the cooker, most of the timers did not work, and if you did not stand over the cooker someone took your eggs, so standing for 5 -8 minutes to protect you eggs was a pain.

It's all about the speedy tram access to the old town centre. Just 50 metres from Ibis Styles Bordeaux Centre Mériadeck is the Gaviniès tram stop, and that line takes you past the Mériadeck shopping precinct (awesome multi-level bakery, groceries, liquor, homewares and even some hardware) and then on to the old town centre. The Hotel itself was still being fitted out during our stay so some features weren't fully operational for us - but judging by the hive of activity the fitout should be complete by the time you read this review. The trams run all day and night, and when you switch lines the next tram is usually only a few minutes away - way better than my home town.

Not much around but very close to centre (only a few stops to sainte Catherine) and hospital Pellegrin. I was visiting a relative at the hospital and it was very convenient to stay there and be able to go back and forth very easily (only 2 stops in tramway)

the location is great. straight across the road you can take your tram back to the airport so very convient. its not to long of a walk into the city center so i think location is good to be fair. The staff were really really nice and friendly, very friendly. The staff make this budget hotel really extra great. I would have no problem staying in this hotel again.

I personally would love tea/coffee facility in the room. The room however did have a really good hair dryer.

I liked everything! The hotel is very comfortable, much more wonderful then i could expect. Everything is new, cosy, eco friendly! The breakfast was very nice and many items were available. The additional i would like t admire the helpful staff on reception: thanks them we succeed to get to the Atlantic ocean (they adviced us the way, we couldnt finf in Google!). By the way the hotel is situated very close to tram stops (to get to the airport, to the centre)? close to Bus stop - #702 bus will take you to beautiful Lacanau - very amazing coastline of Atlantic ocean with wonderful beaches, restaurants. Highly recommended for everything!

Great value for money. Very comfortable large bed. Restaurant food very tasty & prices reasonable. Plenty of choice at breakfast (we chose room only as we wanted to lie on (we just had breakfast there on our last morning)- there’s a bakery across the street where you can sit in & get pastries, sandwiches & coffee for very reasonable prices). All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Perfectly situated just beside a tram stop (line A to/from airport).

The only downside is the location, bit outside the centre of the city

easy to walk to the tram to get around and very clean and comfortable

no immediate bars or restaurants within the area but ten mins on the tram got you to them. a night Porter on one evening told us the bar was closed at 11.30 when actually it should have been open until 2.0am and he refused to serve us - apparently he was new but the other staff agreed that it was incorrect and there was no problem the other nights but rest of the staff were helpful
