If I could have rated this place a 12 instead of a 10, I would do it. The home is lovely, and Beatrice treated us as well as we have ever been treated when traveling. My wife had a food poisoning emergency and Beatrice was able to get a doctor to do a home visit on a Saturday to examine her and confirm food poisoning from a restaurant near the cathederal. Everything turned out well and I give this property the hightest rating possible. Do not miss the opportunity to stay here.

This is truly like staying in a friend's house. You are made very welcome form the moment the door is opened to you. This might be quite late in the evening with gatwick flights and it is a little way from the airport to the house. Beatrice did not seem to mind that we arrived late in the evening. She showed us to our lovely room with a wonderful bathroom. It was such a comfy bed and very welcome after a long day's travel. Breakfast was outstanding with little differences on all four mornings of our stay. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Lovely choice of classical music in the background. Beatrice has good english and was helpful about places to go as well as where to eat. Bordeaux is a lovely city to explore and we also took an easy bus out to St Emilion for the day which was beautiful.

It is a little walk into the town from the B&B which was fine for us but check you are happy with the distance.

This BNB was charming, well decorated, comfortable bed, amazing shower, double sinks!! Fantastic breakfast every morning. But the highlight is Beatrice. Warm, fun, creative, and a genuine person who made our stay very special. The property is about a 10-12 minute walk from the historical core so very quiet at night. Parking is provided in a secure location about 5 minute walk. We hired Beatrice to take us wine tasting and I highly recommend you take advantage of her connections and knowledge. Even pouring rain could not detract from the shining light of our host. PS. Her family are wonderful as well!!

The property was so elegant and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was large with a lovely shower. Beatrice was a wonderful host, giving us details on the restaurants and what to do and see in Bordeaux. It was only 10 - 15 minutes walk into the city centre. We also had a secure parking space about 8 minutes walk away. The breakfast was lovely with home made jam and cakes and enough food that filled us until the evening.

Béatrice is a wonderful host! My wife and I spent five fabulous nights at the Lodge, and also enjoyed two afternoon tours of local wine regions. The accomodations, breakfasts, recommendations were the highlight of our 15-day trip. The icing on the cake was how Béatrice arranged two afternoon private wine tours. We felt very well cared for and appreciated.

Good location to walk to various sites and restaurants. Beatrice was a wonderful hostess. Her continental breakfasts were delicious and one of our favorites of our trip. She provided a great list of restaurant recommendations. The room and private bathroom were spacious, with a comfortable bed. I would highly recommend her B&B.

Beatrice’s home is beautiful! Warm and inviting with a beautiful garden oasis. Our room was large and very comfortable. Beatrice is a wonderful host full of warmth and energy. Her breakfasts were carefully prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. And Beatrice took us on an outstanding wine tour. It was difficult to leave but we hope to be back!

We loved everything about this B&B. The hostess was delightful, the room spacious and well equipped and the bathroom equally so. The communal lounge area and garden were sensitively furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was an absolute treat. Everything we could have wished for and of the highest quality.

Not a problem for us, but it is a walk of 10 minutes at least to a restaurant and another 10 minutes into the centre. We walked everywhere and averaged 7 miles per day. Tram is available as an alternative.

This accommodation is a little gem. Beatrice was the perfect host, her themed breakfasts were excellent and she provided great information on the city which really added to our enjoyment of Bordeaux. The accommodation is in a great location within easy walking distance of the city centre and close to the tram. We would highly recommend the Bordeaux Wine Lodge as well as Beatrice's wine tour.
