The breakfast was very good - simple, high quality and very fresh bread. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were very helpful. The setting, which was a religious seminary with some hotel facilities, was uniquely fascinating. Our room was ensuite like a modern college room but the building was located very centrally with large grounds and a cloister and chapel. Secure and plentiful parking in a city context - an easy tram ride or walk from the centre. Local friendly knowledge enabled us to find a restaurant with a view of the river we would never have discovered otherwise.

It was easy to miss on the road as the word 'hotel' was not outside.

Breakfast was good value. It is a lovely quiet place situated around a cloisters with attractive grounds and parking. The rooms are rather basic in keeping with the nature of the building but for us good value and nice not to be in a city centre. Not difficult to walk into the centre and the tram system is great with a stop circa 5 mins walk providing a quick route into centre ville or Cite du Vin or north of the city. Staff very helpful and when we were there there is also a cafe open on site.

Glad there was no tv - a kettle would have been good to have though.

We chose this place for the location (near an event we were attending the next morning), and the price is unbeatable for Bordeaux. It was also the quietest night we've ever spent there, after staying in different places around town for years. Simple, clean and comfortable, with clear information and decent breakfast. We could leave our bags early in the day, do our thing and came back to check in after dinner.

I'm not a fan of the toilet/shower combo (and no hairdryer fyi), but that was all expected, so no worries.

There is a kitchen for preparing foods , with a fridge, microwave oven, toaster and kettle. Table and chairs.iron and iron-board. A electric fan was provided for hot weather.Very quite place to stay.

If you stay on a Friday with a car. You have to leave before 10 am.on Saturday,for they are closing the place on Saturday and Sunday. The entrance gate will be locked until Monday.

A lovely place, situated inside a church, which is very serene. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and gave us excellent help to maximize our day in Bordeaux. The place is very close to the Tramline which is connected to the important attractions of the city. Be sure to spend a few moments inside the chapel.

Check in was at 3:30pm, it would be helpful if it is earlier, maybe at 2:00pm.

Quiet room, great value for money, good location.

The shower and toilet arrangement. The rooms are like dorm rooms so the shower sprays onto the floor and opposite the toilet so its messy and feels abit gross, but the room was very clean and nothing wrong with it at all. The price and location are exceptional so this wasnt a big deal.

RECEPTION - Both receptionists were delightful and helpful and spoke English which for us was very useful. LOCATION - good overall with tram stop nearby into the city. BREAKFAST - didn't have breakfast. PARKING - No problem finding a parking space within the grounds of the hotel which has a barrier entrance

No cups in the kitchen, no glasses in the room for drinking although it did have paper cups. Hair dryer would be useful.

Lovely buildings in attract tive gardens with central courtyard, felt a little like a monastery. Huge room with long high window. Ample safe parking behind main building. You don't need an alarm clock, there are very loud bells, although they are turned off at night, there is a crescendo at 8am!

No local restaurants. Only restaurants about 30 minute walk away, further than I can walk nowadays. You have to book dinner in the hotel before 12 noon on the day, otherwise no dinner 😭

Clean and quiet this hotel is a stones throw from Bordeaux which is in easy walking distance or, if you prefer, the tram runs close by. Facilities are fairly basic, and the property is authentically French. Our room was clean and tidy and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking, this close to the city centre was a real bonus.

My ONLY (very minor) gripe was the lack of an extra pillow.

Quiet location with secure free parking (and able to leave car there during day we checked out). Staff at front desk very helpful. Metro stop only 5 min walk away.

Didn’t realise at time of booking that no AC however fan provided. Had a small accessible bathroom which meant that toilet area was wet after shower and also shower water leaked between screen and basin area. Was a good 20-30 minute walk to restaurants but metro close.
