I stayed one night in Au petit bonheur with my partner. It was a really nice experience. Communication was pretty easy. The location is great, a few seconds away from the tram stop. You can reach Bordeaux downtown in 10 to 15 minutes. There is no private parking but you can park easily in the grocery store's parking lot which is right in front. The room is really comfortable with a shower room attached. There is a TV and even an A/C for really hot nights. Toilets are separated but really nearby. The hosts are very welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay there.

There is nothing that I didn't like. The room faces the street where the tram runs so it might be a bit too noisy for some people but for me, it wasn't a problem.

Excellent location right outside the tram station. Lovely hosts and very helpful in providing advice regarding our trip to Bordeaux. Air conditioner, which was essential as it was extremely hot when we stayed there.

I’m not keen on sharing toilets, however, it was okay as we had a private shower in our room.

Very nice people. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower is directly in the room. It is very easy to reach, as the Tram stops right in front of the house.

The toilets are outside the room, shared with the owners. No complaints here, just something to be aware of.

Lovely home great location

Amazing location, in front of the tramway stop. There is a grocery store across the street which is really handy. The room is big enough and the shower is a plus inside the room. On a personal note, having some real soap (not liquid one) to wash your hands was appreciated.

The communication with the host was tricky and due to some mistakes I ended up waiting for 1h30 in front of the main entrance. If I’m back, I’ll make sure that they confirm the real check in hours as the ones on the website and mentioned at the beginning were incorrect.

I arrived quite late and was about to go to the shower when I noticed insects (small bugs) everywhere around the room - on the walls, on the furniture etc. I called the hosts and told them I couldn't stay like that surrounded by insects which could be parasitic. We counted the bugs together - they were very surprised and provided their apologies. They seemed quite understanding and agreed that they'd reimburse without doubt the stay. I said ok, happens, but had to leave in the night (pretty much exhausted) and seek for a new hotel. I didn't receive any message or reimbursement afterwards - not the biggest loss for me but after the host didn't reply through booking, over the phone, over whatsapp during 1.5 months it became a matter of principle. Hopefully the insect problem was taken care of, but in any case a dishonest and cowardly person. In my humble opinion should be less of this kind on booking.com
