We had a lovely welcome from Fabio upon arrival at The Paloma Blanca and couldn't have been happier with the secure, off street parking. He organised the television so at least we could have news & sport channels in English. Lovely Aurora took over from him through the week This is a delightful family run hotel in a great position for easy walking in Scaccia. Alessandro & Francesca are very involved in their hotel and couldn't have been more helpful. Alessandro went above & beyond with car problems we had. 'Breakfast Mary' and the chef started our day well - Mary's English being a great help! Our room was fresh and clean every day. We couldn't find any fault and were thrilled with our stay (& sad to leave!) THANK you ALLLL!

There was nothing we didn't like!

Luxary, modern Hotel in Sciacca. We decided to stay in Sciacca for one night to break up our journey from Trapani to Noto. We did not have much expectation as it is not mentioned much as tourist destination in Sicily, but Sciacca and La Paloma Blanca exceeded our expectations completely. The staff were so helpful with wonderful recommendations for food- we had a beautiful meal in Cola Pesce. In addition, during breakfast we were treated without request by a Sciacca delicacy- similar to a cannoli, but more like a crepe- I enjoyed the insight into history by this simple gesture. Sciacca itself was very quant and had a welcoming aura. If traveling Sicily and want to break up your journey, would 100% recommend La Paloma Blanca in Sciacca! :-)

Not truely a negative but check out is slightly too early at 10 am, for my preference. However, I know this is the policy as the hotel is dedicated to having rooms to the highest level of cleanliness.

Bear in mind that we visited this hotel in early/nid September, we found Sciacca to be nice and not too busy. There was free parking available everywhere and a small gap.to stop and unload the bags in front of the hotel. There was paid parking available nearby but we never needed it. The staff were really.good, the man who welcomed us to the hotel gave us a really good, comprehensive overview of Sciacca so we felt better prepared.to.explore the town. There were free snacks and juice available at reception and breakfast had a good variety of food. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The best part was the view from the balcony - the hotel is a little bit far from the beach but the view is spectacular.

There's very little to criticise to be honest. The only issue is that the room was a little small, other than that, it was really good. Oh, and the fridge didn't keep things particularly cold.

The hotel is pristine, the staff are efficient, friendly and went beyond what was expected. The hotel is comfortable, the breakfast is amazing and they left out a dog bed and treats for our spaniel, Daisy. Breakfast was a real treat, with the best orange juice we have ever tasted, made to order scrambled eggs and a cacophony of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses and sweet treats on offer. The secure garage parking at only 8€ was a bargain and the restaurant recommendations were first class.

A gem of a hotel just outside the main attractions of Sciacca. Our room faced the front and the sea and is worth splurging for to get the views and the balcony. Good sized room, super comfy king-sized bed and decent bathroom. Everything was spotless. We had complete control of the A/C unit and it was very quiet. Exceptionasl staff who were very helpful and accommodating. Free parking right outside the front door.

The shower stall was small, really tight. A larger person may have difficulty moving around in there. Breakfast room was small and crowded, but food selection was good.

We liked everything! The best stay we had in our two weeks tour of Sicily. The room was incredibly comfortable, having all facilities one might expect from a 4* hotel and we also received from the hotel an upgrade to a nicer room with view. The breakfast offered so many delicious options both salty and sweet, very elegantly presented but the surprise from the house was Ova Murina, a local traditional alternative to cannoli that is incredibly light and delicious. The hotel offers a convenient, both from location and price points of view, close-by private parking. It’s easy to walk to Duomo and many other attractions Sciacca has to offer. But most of everything, we appreciated the kindness and perfect welcome received from the hotel staff. Elviro and Fabio are the best ambassadors for Sciacca and their passion for their work and their hometown is something you don’t get to see very often. We received very good restaurants recommendations and had a prefect dinner right in front of the Duomo. But also found out more about Sciacca history and traditions. We will happily return to experience more of this beautiful city also thanks to this fantastic experience we had.

Very nice, beautiful hotel, with a wide variety of delicious items for breakfast, including salty options (not just sweet as is otherwise the case). Option to safely store bicycles in a closed garage. Nice (partial) view at the ocean.

The rooms are not as new as they come across on some pictures, although they are still in decent condition. Breakfast could include some better options for bread.

Completely remodeled a year ago. Simply gorgeous! Convenient parking, safe parking. Family owned and they are all in. Owner arranged a 7PM dinner for us at a restaurant owned by a friend not scheduled to open till 8 PM. Large marble bathroom , even either a small bedroom. Specially cooked Ova Marina , Sciacca unique relative of cannoli , for us as first time guests. See photos , intentionally mislabeled below as lobby and outside.

Can’t think of a thing, which is unusual for us!

The hotel is very clean and very well located. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is very quiet.

The staff hardly speaks english. The communication at the check-in is via Google Translate. This makes the communication difficult. The breakfast has lots of sweet things and is compared to our standards rather limited. Empty things should be replaced quicker.

Planned on staying for one night as a stopover for our Sicily road trip, but we were blown away by everything that we booked another night. The staff were outstanding, Fabio was incredibly helpful and friendly , helped with restaurant reservations. The gentleman at breakfast was fabulous, explaining everything and being just generally very kind. The room itself was incredible, one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the balcony was really lovely ( especially as we got to see a vintage car parade go past) . I couldn’t recommend this hotel any more strongly, and absolute gem that we re so glad to have found. Bravo!

A tiny complaint was that the shower cubicle is very small( but appreciate that there not much that can be done about that) One other small issue was that the cleaning staff were quite loud early on which woke us up, but not something that really ditracted from our stay.
