Had an amazing stay, staff was so kind to us. The room was clean and tidy. It is very modern but with an old feel to it to match the theme of the hotel. Staff in both the hotel and the restaurant are very kind and the food was divine. Located in the centre of the village. The theme around knight Jorg really gives the hotel a nice vibe

The only thing i can think of is that our room ( facing the courtyard) was basicly next to the kitchen of the restaurant. For light sleepers this might be a problem. We didnt mind and loved the bustling sounds of the guys laughing and teasing.

Charming hotel in a charming town. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and offered to help carry our suitcases. If going during the summer holiday period, I’d recommend booking the restaurant in advance, as it’s quite popular.

There are only ten parking spaces, so it’s best to book one in advance. Otherwise, you need to park by the river (2 to 5 minutes away). There are other hotels/restaurants near the river, so parking there can be tricky (you might need to go further along the river to find a spot). There is no lift, however, the staff offer to help carry your cases up. There is no air conditioning, but fans are provided. We did not find the room too warm.

Excellent quality hotel with spacious and comfy rooms, great light and windows; breakfast was lovely, too. They were closed for dinner but we went next door and it was delicious. Great little town with some local wineries to visit, too, on the main street. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was quite boring. I don´t get how a trained chef is able to make scrambled eggs without even a hint of salt and pepper ...

The village is lovely and the hotel is centrally located . It is a very nice stop and an opportunity to walk around and try the local wine. The bedroom has been nicely decorated, and the bathroom is large and modern.

Parking at the hotel is limited and costs 9 euros. There is free parking about a 150m away, which is not far, but cobbled streets are not ideal for pulling suitcases.

Superb medieval village. Great restaurant in the hotel. Good breakfast. Spacious rooms with good beds. Not a lot of parking space at the hotel itself but several free parkings quite nearby.

Ventilator in toilet kept turning without use of the toilet which gave some annoying background noise. Pillows are very soft so an extra pillow could be handy.

The hotel is in the beautiful town of Sommerhausen with a great restaurant and a lovely big room . The staff were very friendly with some English . We felt we lucked out as we arrived for their annual town festival . With a Parade down the Main Street and wine tasting.

Lovely little hotel, try to go on another day as restaurant is closed and I'm sure it's not to be missed. Lovely staff great location, first class small hotel in very pretty medieval village.

Cozy hotel with efficient though small room, excellent restaurant and friendly staff. Great location, easy on and off highway and very near Wurszburg which is another larger excellent place. Welcoming. Excellent breakfast.

Parking is limited close to the hotel. However, public parking in comfortable walking distance. Restaurant was sold out of local dishes.
