We used this hotel for one night driving up to Lincoln from London so we didn’t have to leave early the next day. The hotel is about 10 mins drive from Lincoln, has free parking, was very cheap and has good reviews so we booked it. Lady on reception was very helpful and we were very happy with our room, it was very big, had plenty of sockets and was clean. Being a bloke the 2 main things for me going away is the bed and the shower, the bed was a bit firm for my liking but my girlfriend loved it and the shower was Ok but my girlfriend had a bath so I can’t really mark them down, all about personal preference really! Overall, the room was great value for money and we would happily there again.

Breakfast only available at the adjoing restaurant. Free coffee was a bonus. Only strange things no was toast came pre buttered.

Value for money would be hard to beat anywhere. Room 221 was larger than expected and very clean, well equipped. Bed extremely comfortable. The recessed wardrobe and also en-suite were well designed and very clean. Fan in room was quiet and very welcome (heatwave). Daily cleaning service was high quality. Loads of parking, with an adjacent Esso (or similar) garage open 24/7 I think. Efficient check-in, friendly helpful staff. Bar area in hotel. Adjacent building across the car park was an American diner type establishment, never going to win a Michelin Star but was more than adequate for one evening meal. Good breakfast choices to be had at the nearby Lakeside Cafe in Whisby (3 mins drive).

Situated just off a dual carraigeway (but window sound-proofing was good). 10mins by car to centre of Lincoln, depending on local traffic. The overhead bed lighting was very bright, too bright and radiated a lot of heat (ok in the winter). The only radiator (electric, I didn't use as heatwave) was situated in the alcove to the room - I wondered if sufficient in winter.

This is a fantastic little hotel just a 10 minute drive from the centre of Lincoln on the ring road. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated and well equipped with kettle, iron and board, hairdryer and TV. The location is great, it’s right next to the A46, easy access to the city centre and Doddington hall is also quite close and well worth a visit for a stroll around a nice parkland and farm shop. As it’s a small hotel there isn’t a huge team of staff, but the young lady on reception was superb; extremely friendly and pleasant to chat to, and very eager to ensure that we had everything we could have wanted. I’ve worked with and stayed in a lot of hotels all over the UK and this young lady ranks among the best in terms of client satisfaction, keep up the good work!

The only thing I can criticise, and it really is a minor thing that didn’t negatively affect the stay, was the shower head had seen better days! It was functional and believe me I’ve had worse in far more expensive 5* hotels, but it’s the only thing I can think of that could have been improved.

I received a warm welcome from the reception staff & the housekeeping staff that I bumped into on the corridor were friendly & professional. I stayed in an executive double room. The room was emaculate, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Being able to open the window was a plus as it was a warm night (though it did mean having to contend with the noise from the nearby ring road and people outside). Free parking on site and proximity to the ring road was ideal.

A fridge in the room would be great - they have these as standard in Premier Plus rooms in the Premier Inn. Felt uneasy, having a connecting door to the next room even though it was locked.

Lovely comfy pillows on the bed and comfy mattress. Good size room with ensuite shower room. Staff were really friendly. The location is excellent and there was plenty of parking available on site - just be sure to put your numberplate into the machine at the desk. There was a bar on site and a restaurant just across the carpark you could use. Lovely sized desk and comfy chairs in the room. Loved the free wifi - which was a good speed too!

Soundproofing from the windows reflects the older age of the building. Newer double glazing would shut out more sound. I still slept like a log though - so not an issue for me.

Room was excellent especially decent mirror in bathroom suitable for shaving and doing contact lenses. Decent mirror in room with plug socket nearby and overhead lighting great for hairstyling and make up. Shower and towels excellent, bed very comfortable.

Would have been good to have a mini fridge as I have medication that should be refrigerated. Biggest complaint is the total lack of any healthy breakfast options. No cereals, fruit, yogurt etc. Only fried food and sugar heavy pancakes etc on the menu. We have health issues so had to bring our own breakfast as there was absolutely nothing suitable at all. Please look into this and do a lower price healthy breakfast option. Only other thing to note was room was upstairs and there was no lift plus it was a curvy staircase and then a long corridor. We are over 60 so not the best for us.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. All staff, from the receptionists, bar staff and waitresses, were very pleasant and helpful. Food at the restaurant was good, plentiful and reasonably priced.

If we were being picky it would be the traffic noise but to be honest this is to be expected as the hotel is situated just off of the A46. It was a very hot evening and as there was no air conditioning in the rooms (although a fan is supplied) we had to have the window open so this didn’t help. Once the window was closed it shut out a lot of the noise.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet given its proximity to a main road. I expected more noise from ĺate night revellers, but all I heard was a couple of doors closing. Excellent value for money. The restaurant is superb. We had their trademark ribs and also enjoyed a substantial breakfast with other members of the family. Gemma and Kai were helpful and attentive waiting staff. A great place to stay.

The restaurant was unable to offer soya or oat milk or gluten-free bread, which is disappointing given the range of intolerances experienced nowadays.

This was our second stay at Damon's. The room was spacious and clean, it had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the shower was great. It was excellent value for money. It's very well placed for access to Lincoln city centre. The staff are so friendly and helpful. When we needed to stay on site longer the next day while we waited for our breakdown provider to arrive, it was no issue and they let us use the facilities on site. Thank you!

The mobile phone signal was very poor in the area at the hotel and the wifi was patchy, which made it difficult to contact our breakdown provider.
