Bedding in the room was super comfortable and the room overall very comfortable and cosy. Surprising good water pressure in the shower (despite the bathroom being a little on the small side). The hotel is located in a great spot: a short walk from the bus station, and also at the foot of the Gulpener hill.

Even though the sauna room was supposedly open from 7:30h am, by 09:00h it was unfortunately still closed. Breakfast and restaurant are at the expensive side (though all breakfast products were very fresh); better to have dinner in one of the many small eateries in town.

The room was large and clean (we had the family suite with 2 TV's). The beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was included in our rate and was excellent with plenty of choice and good quality ingredients. We dined in the restaurant on both nights and although not an extensive menu the food was again excellent. Finally the staff were also great and friendly. The town of Grupen which is a short walk away is also wonderful with its' own brewery and is positioned between the beautiful city of Maastricht and the historic city of Aachen just over the border in Germany.

The only issue we had was the room didn't have windows you could open as it had a sliding patio door leading onto a balcony. This wouldn't normally be a problem for us but we had our small dog with us and he could easily get out if we left the door open and so it was a little hot at night but we did have a fan to help us keep a little cooler.

Everything was close especially with restaurants in the town. Bus transportation was also great.

The breakfast, paid 21 euros per person but it was not its money worth. Very often was everything finished and there was no sufficient staff to help.

First of all, cleanliness is a big plus. Varied selection of breakfasts. Nice and helpful staff.

The restaurant was open very briefly, the waiters served drinks at any hour, but the kitchen was open only for a short time.

Welcoming reception, large, clean, modern room. Wide selection for breakfast. Nice restaurant for dinner, cozy vibes.

No bathrobes in the room. Twin bed with 2 mattresses and 2 duvets rather than one large mattress and 1 large duvet.

Large room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Nice and very friendly staff super customer oriented. Good breakfast all the basic plus extra is there. The bread is still warm fresh from backery cereal and white. Fresh Croissant too. Till the last cuetomer and st thr end of breakfadt time they still service you good. You can choose inside or outside all is okey. The new manager is reorganising so there will higher services coming. I will come back sure. The area Geuldal is nearby and all the beautiful spots for hiking and cycling is in less than 10 minutes driving there. Free parking at own property is pleasant.

The Receptionist/Bar Person/Room Service Provider (Annete) was always friendly, polite even when under unessary pressure.

Not being informed before arrival that the Restaurant was closed. We were there for six nights and although the towels were changed the bathroom was not cleaned once. More staff may have helped the overworked employees.

Communication was excellent. Hotel was stunning. Rooms were large and comfortable. It had everything we needed and we hope to stay again in the future.

Not enough cutlery. We missed some bowls for yoghurt. We missed scissors. We missed also a small cleaning set.

Room 113 is kind of small, but all in all good
