Wonderful place to stay and to have a complete experience in Zanzibar. We recommend this for everyone who is seeking for an accommodation with a design inspired by the Tulum vibes. The host, Tarek together with his wife and his son are the most friendly and helpful people we have ever met. Great food, amazing smoothies, we will come back for sure every time we will visit Zanzibar. The people that are working there are always available and ready to help. So if you want to enjoy a full experience full of amazing people, a dazzling accommodation and a super relax pool you should not miss this place. See you soon, BeZanzibar! You are our second home!

My husband and I had an amazing time during our 4 night stay at Be Zanzibar after a 6 day Safari. We ate at the on-site restaurant Casa Coco for breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything was fresh and delicious with plenty of meal options — we never felt the need to go anywhere else and loved the pescatarian menu! The view, beach and water is simply stunning. The whole property is beautifully designed with plenty of options to lounge in from day beds, hammocks, bean bags, and even a tree house. Pottery is also offered complementary for guests! The owner is extremely friendly, checking in on us often and going above and beyond for my husband’s allergy to nuts. I highly recommend this hotel for couples and families looking to relax in a high-end yet laid-back environment with a "local, authentic" feel. Make sure to catch the sunrise -- breathtaking. We hope to be back soon ☺️
We found out on the last day via the IG page that complementary boat rides are offered to guests. We would have loved to take advantage of this had we been briefed on arrival, but it's a great excuse to come back! ;)

It definitely has the photogenic wow factor! The design is great and the bed is super comfortable. The location is right on the beach but not overwhelmed with tourists. I also loved the long pool for laps and the view!!

EVERYTHING!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The environment was exceptional Beautiful!!! Couldn’t ask for a better place in Zanzibar. The level of cleanliness, beauty, comfort, hospitality, kindness, was out of this world. From the staff at the reception the lady called Atherm, to Linda, to the kitchen guy who made exception for me throughout there stay, to the captains off the bouts to the guy who helped uss with the bags to the owner/manager. Our stay was tooo beautiful and they are so considerate, bonus us with a free night on the last day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🏾. The free boats, sunset boating

On this planet, there does not exist a more comfortable bed. The best sleeps in years. The location is stunning and the hotel is very beautiful. I loved the hammock with a sea view. The food was good too. They have just opened and while I was there, there was a national power cut and some classy african issues. They dealt with all of it brilliantly, it was remarkable how they never stopped smiling and being adorably kind throughout all this. Congrats and i wish you all the best for the future. I hope i can come back soon.

The design of the hotel merged perfectly into the laid back vibe of the island. The staff was always kind and the food was good.
The service standards were not the highest, the staff was always smiling but sometimes a bit lost. Example: we didn‘t receive an introduction to the hotel so we didn’t know we needed to leave our room keys at the reception to receive room service. So the next day we left the keys after breakfast and came back before dinner. The room was not cleaned and our key was lost at reception. Even after that they didn’t manage to clean the room during dinner but only after. This is only one example and for sure we still had a nice stay, but the service could be a bit more attentive in the future.

I had the pleasure to spend two unforgettable days at this amazing hotel. The design is a beautiful mix of traditional charm and modern style. The use of natural materials creates a warm and authentic atmosphere. And of course the breathtaking ocean view takes the whole experience to the next level. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kind-hearted, always ready to help with a smile. Although I didn’t have the chance to meet the manager personally, it’s clear that everything is running smoothly under their attentive leadership. The food was absolutely excellent — breakfast, in particular, was authentic and delicious. The hotel also offers several complimentary activities, which added even more value to the experience. There’s a lovely spa on site, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and welcoming place to stay.

Loved everything about Be Zanzibar! From the moment we arrived till we sadly had to check out. The views are unbelievable! The sunrise is a must. The rooms have everything you need and is clean! The restaurant has good food and the breakfast is something I looked forward to. We went sailing and the experience was great (thank you captain Abdul!) The clay making actives was a very nice touch (south out to mama Ameenah!) The staff were amazing and would know who you are which was good customer service. Very accommodating. The owner of the this lovely boutique hotel is on ground and also attentive to the guest (ask him about the story of the hotel 😉) Overall a must when you are in Zanzibar!
Nothing at all! Only some areas of improvement. The hotel is stunning and peaceful but there were times were the guests were children and would disturbing. No fault of the hotel ofcourse but would be good to let guests with children know. The food could use a little more spices and would love to see more authentic Swahili dishes. Turn down service is upon request so make sure you ask 😊 Not a deal breaker but for those who drink alcohol, there is no alcohol in the hotel itself but you can bring your own.

Beautiful place to relax, enjoy, and reset. Stunning views of the ocean mixed with the nice design of the hotel. Really nice rooms, pool, and relaxing environment across the hotel. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Really great food and fresh fruits everyday. So many options for breakfast. The staff was an absolute joy, and made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you Josef, Jaffet, Sulemia, and the rest of the team.
We traveled with 3 kids all under 7 years. The place is great, but maybe not the environment for younger kids who can be a bit loud. Sometimes it felt that we didn't really fit in with the rest of the guests, and was maybe "disturbing" the peace. No doors to the bathroom was an interesting choice, so privacy was lacking, which I thought could definitely have been improved. You don't want to hear someone else's business in the bathroom... The restaurant area sometimes felt a bit tight. Maybe its the size of the chairs and tables. It was very easy to get stuck and hard to get up from the chairs as they were very close to each other, making it easy to bump into the person sitting in front/behind
