Our stay was absolutaly amazing. I’ve never experienced such a genuine hospitality. Everybody from the staff is very professinonal and helpful. Speciál thanks to Ally for everything. The resort i very spacious and peaceful, thanks to the beautiful garden. The Villas have beautiful view and they’re cleaned twice a day. The beach is clean and private. We liked the Food, plenty to choose from the buffet plus fresh fish on the grill every eveneing. They even prepared special menu for dinner on the valentines day and on Friday , there is tradtional African Food served with live music….I mean, this place is truly special, We would come back next week if We could.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious with various options suitable even for my picky teens. Every night there is a grill with the catch of the day. The ambience amazing! 4. Location is 10 minutes away from local town and 15 minutes away from Paje if you are looking for a more busy vibe. 5. The beach bar set up and beach area are totally serene, better than the pictures. 6. Beach: note that swimming is possible during high tide, which happened every day around 2pm and lasted for a good few hours. During this time you will experience soft warm turquoise Indian Ocean waters perfect for a dip. Special mentions: Ally who is the manager on duty will go over and above to ensure your stay is perfect. The reception and restaurant staff ( Hamida, Chef Hassan, Semeni, Khamis, and so many others whose names are too many to mention) Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Wi-Fi was intermittent especially at night

I can fairly say that this place is one of the beat i have been. Very clean and warm atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and nice and always helpful especially mr.khamis he never hesitate to help us regarding any matter, big respect and thank u for him. My sister is vegan so the chefs were very helpful to make a good plates for her everyday. The place is very safe and the beach is private. They clean twice a day which makes the place always clean and nice smell and no insect inside the rooms. Some side downs, The wifi only outside the rooms and not strong. We had to buy toothpaste and toothbrush because none were provided in the rooms and they were not cheap and there was no sleepers in the rooms. But these small details didn’t bother us a lot so overall it’s very pleasant experience i would recommend and stay there again for sure.

Our family had a wonderful holiday at the hotel. The staff was always in touch and responded to any request immediately. Khamis Ali was extremely kind and really helped us out on our last day. We forgot our camera at the hotel and remembered it only when we arrived at the airport. Khamis did the impossible - he sent a driver with a camera in a short time and 5 minutes before boarding closed, he arrived and handed over our forgotten things. We are very grateful to him. It is not every day that you meet such responsive people. We recommend everyone to stay for a holiday at wonderful hotel The Sand Beach resort.

Internet in the room

Location is fantastic, beautiful, far from busy touristic area but close to nice spots. It is very clean, modern houses, enough sunbed. Very delicious food. Super kind service. Our 2 bedrooms villa was big and modern. Well designed. Ali, you are a real magic of this place with your kindness and friendly atmosphere that you can create. We are happy to return.

At the beach it can be windy close to the ocean but few steps back where no wind is it would be useful to have some sunbeds.

The staff are incredible—always ready to help, super friendly, and hilarious! The food was outstanding, especially the fish dishes; the carpaccio was unreal. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, offering a wide variety of options that even satisfied my picky teens. Every night featured a grill with the catch of the day, adding to the delightful dining experience. The ambience was amazing! Mr. Ally, the manager on duty, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The reception and restaurant staff were equally exceptional. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!

WiFi inside the villa

Peaceful and quiet, great for relaxing staff are great,

private pools are not as clean, especially if you paying allot more for privste pools

The Sands is rather small resort right on the beach. All rooms are in bungalows or villas. All surrounded by beautiful gardens. We had a huge two-bedroom villa with private pool and spectacular view on the ocean. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, separate kitchen, living room, terrace - plenty of space for our family of four. Beds pretty comfy. Decor rather simple, but honestly nothing to complain about. A/c working good. Cleaned during the day, plus evening turn-down service. We had breakfasts and dinner. Both delicious. Especially the dinner - we stayed three nights and every evening there was a fresh fish prepared right to your order. Delicious grill, but on our request chef also made us marlin and tuna carpaccios. Must try. Plenty of staff, always smiling and ready to help. We also liked the beach bar and their wonderful drinks. Especially fresh coconut pinacoladas.

One remark we made to the guest relations - they could clean up the beach more regularly, as plenty of shells and seeweeds were delivered by the sea on regular basis.

The staff were exceptionally friendly And friendly attend to our needs Bangalore was very clean Loved the inside with coconut trees. Begonville plants fencing amazing Clean beach/ setting area. The quiet/ tranquil.

No evening entertainment There are no lights towards the beach Couldn't go for a walk on the beach at night times After dinner we had to go to our Bangalore . Electric power kept going off Sometime in the middle of a shower.

I liked the scale of the resort - it felt very select, personal and friendly. Lovely gardens, plenty of sun beds at the beach and sofas by the beach bar, with a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and lounge area in the evening. The food was amazing, especially the grilled fish. Ally (manager) was always present especially during dining and the staff were so welcoming. I loved the resort and hope to return.

There could have been more shade around the pool - but really this so picky - there’s little to not like.
