Nice serene environment with very friendly staff and management team lead by Mimi that make you feel comfortable and at home away from home. It’s a new place and we enjoyed our stay. They helped to organise excursions to see different places on the island as well as sample different restaurants nearby. Great effort made to provide Christmas Eve and Christmas Day entertainment and special dinner menu. The spa experience was fantastic and highly recommended.

Newly opened resort and like all startups had a few teething issues. The remarkable thing is that whenever this was raised with the staff or management they were quick to respond and also provide alternative solutions. It was nice to experience some of the transformation during our stay.

The chicken pizza became my favorite late-night indulgence. The staff’s constant smiles and friendly demeanor made me feel truly at home. Their attentiveness and genuine care were evident throughout my stay. During my visit, they discovered it was my birthday and went out of their way to celebrate it in a special manner, bringing tears to my eyes and immense joy to my heart. For anyone in need of a beautiful, peaceful retreat in Zanzibar, this is the place to be. I cherished every moment of my stay and eagerly look forward to returning.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bali resort—it truly felt like being in Bali. The resort was peaceful, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed in every detail. My facial was fantastic, the food was exceptional, and every moment felt carefully curated. While there’s no direct beach access, the private beach just two minutes away was a delightful surprise and made up for it completely. A truly wonderful experience—we would definitely return!

While our stay was fantastic, there are a couple of areas for improvement. It would be great to see milk alternatives available for those who are lactose intolerant, as I wasn't able to enjoy my daily coffee because of this. Additionally, the gym equipment could benefit from more frequent cleaning, especially given the humidity, which can lead to rust. Regular maintenance would help keep the equipment in good condition and ensure a better experience for guests.

The staff was very nice, competent and always worried about the client's happiness. Cleanliness is priority as well, you can tell. The food is phenomenal, a hidden gem in Zanzibar. A grocery store is available within the hotel with a lot of essential goods for the stay. The hotel doesn't have direct access to the beach but it offers a free transfer to the nearby beach, within the blue lagoon, just stunning. One of the best trips so far, I would recommend it to everyone.

Located in a quiet area of Dongwe, perfect for peace and tranquility. It is a very modern hotel with individual detached bungalows constructed to a high standard of furnishing and comfort. The gardens are beautiful and immaculately maintained and afford privacy and shade for the bungalows. The cafe/restaurant is pleasant with good freshly prepared food at reasonable prices. The staff is warm and welcoming. The standout feature is the very large swimming pool which is very clean. We booked an extra day - it was so nice. You can walk to the beach but it is a little scruffy with plastic bottles strewn around, and some seaweed in the water but still possible to swim. There was no hassle from anyone.

Breakfast is limited to one choice in addition to a cold and hot drink. Having some fruit in addition would be perfect. The sun loungers are hard and uncomfortable after a while, having a cushioned surface would make a big difference.

Had a lovely-beautiful stay at The Bali Resort Zanzibar. Beautiful room and beautiful scenery outside with nice amenities. Very Friendly staff whom offer great service!! They also made our taxi transfers(transport) from the hotel to our excursions very seamless, until the very end of our trip [thank you]. The restaurant [also lovely!!] - Good food, good music, good service and beautiful view of the pool. There are board games and Shisha, which we enjoyed. The chicken and pineapple pizza was very delicious.

Can’t speak highly enough of our time at The Bali Resort, our stay was really enjoyable :) - Rooms: clean, comfortable and quiet - Pool: large, clean and a good temp - Food: excellent quality - Atmosphere: luxurious, relaxing and peaceful - Staff: friendly, kind and professional - Beach: beautiful white sand and not too crowded. The staff make it easy for you to get there - couple of minutes by the free tuk tuk shuttle and you’re there (they don’t have direct beachfront access) Thanks for a great stay!

Very unique and very lush. Surrounded by a beautiful gardens, the rooms are very big and spacious, not crowded and the swimming pool area is very beautiful. The staff are also very nice and friendly, they treated me like a queen. Always ready to help and people there were extremely friendly. They helped me book the clear boat Kayaking activity that I really wanted to do. They genuinely go above and beyond to make this experience unforgettable.

The resort is designed to be there and relax, which is what I wanted. They have place to receive massages and spa treatments, but I didn't see a spa itself (maybe I miss it). The staff is wonderful, they seem like a family, in every level of the resort, restaurant, reception, massage, management, etc. The swimming pool is great

The gym is not well equipped yet. The access to the beach could be better. You need a taxi/car to go to the closest town.

Am amazing boutique hotel off the beaten track but not far from town. Staff were fantastic and always available to help. Food was superb. The room was lovely with everything you need and more. It's the mist well-kept property I think I've stayed in. Everything was immaculately maintained and looked wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer.
