My friend and I (two young ladies traveling through Greece) stayed at Xerolithos for three unforgettable nights at the end of June, and without exaggeration, this was the highlight of our 10-day Greek holiday! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the perfect choice. First, the location is ideal—far enough from the crowds to feel like a true retreat, yet still easily accessible to Naxos' main attractions. It's the best of both worlds: peaceful seclusion with convenience. The moment we stepped onto the property, we were greeted by the soothing scents of blooming flowers and the sight of lush, wild gardens—nature at its most beautiful and unpretentious. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful—warm, respectful, and full of great recommendations. They took the time to share their knowledge of the island and genuinely enjoyed exchanging stories about life and travel. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The veranda was just as stunning as the photos promised (if not more!), but the real star was the garden. Bursting with vibrant flowers, fragrant herbs, and even fruit trees, it felt like wandering through a hidden Eden. And at night? Pure magic. The sky was a glittering canvas of stars, with shooting stars streaking across every few minutes (yes, we counted—along with a few satellites for fun!). Please have breakfast on the veranda! The hosts prepare everything fresh—local bread, jams, yogurt, and more—making it the perfect way to start the day in paradise. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from city life, Xerolithos is the place. We're already dreaming of our next stay—no need to browse other options, this is perfection. **Selfish tip: Go now before this hidden gem gets discovered!** **10/10, would recommend in a heartbeat!** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If I had to suggest one tiny improvement, it would be an earlier breakfast time (currently at 8:30 AM, since the host picks up fresh bread daily from town). But honestly, it's worth the wait—the quality is unbeatable!

Everything! Location, design, hosts! The hosie is inland, with beautiful scenery and view of the mountains. Beautifully decorated in cyclades style. Very peaceful but close to best beaches and town 15-20min ride. You need a car. Beautiful villages nearby… Naxos at its best authentic way. Hosts are beyond amazing. Very polite, always available, but not imposing. We are definitely coming back!

Xerolithos was a locate in absolute tranquility. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of Chora, but far enough away to have complete relaxation when we wanted it. There are many beautiful villages and beaches in close vicinity to Xerolithos too. The accommodation was beautifully presented and we couldn’t have asked for more. We had breakfast on one occasion and it was delicious. Andreas and Mary were the most beautiful and welcoming hosts, who always made sure we had everything we needed. Xerolithos is such a special place and we would love to return. Thank you🩷

First of all, hosts Andreas and Marry are truly warm hearted and welcoming people. The accommodation is set in a perfect location between the Naxian mountains and the sea, surrounded by nature, yet close to everything. The whole areal has a beautiful Greek style, the view from the terrace is magnificent and also breakfast is available at a very reasonable price. It’s an ideal place for families looking for peace and authenticity.

There’s absolutely nothing negative to mention.

incredibly beautiful surroundings, relatively remote so very quiet but only about 15 minutes from towns and beaches, the couple that runs it is the most helpful and provides great recommendations and local tips. the hot tub is amazing in the evening, no light pollution so the stars are incredible. we had breakfast on our veranda one morning from the accommodation, it was delicious and we would highly recommend it.

Everything was just wonderful: the surroundings, the garden of the property, the rooms, the interior design, simple and chic at the same time. The place was really clean, the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and huge! Mary and Andreas are very nice and friendly and did everything in order to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. They also gave us a lot of valuable tips to reach the best beaches or to find a good restaurant or sights. We were really happy to have chosen this place for our holiday in Naxos.

Such lovely hosts! You feel like being with family! Very kids friendly as well. The property is very well designed, amazing herbal garden and the place indoors is just perfectly made! It feels much bigger that in the pictures and every detail is just very thought through! The bed and sheets are one of the must comfortable we ever experienced and the entire place is stunningly clean! Enjoy the breakfast offer: it ist just amazing to sit outside with a great panoramic view to the mountains and morning sun with fresh baked things from the local bakery and a lovely set table. Location: we think after one week travelling through Naxos, that this is actually the perfect location if you like to stay comfortable and flexible ins to activities. 15 min to best beaches or lovely mountain hikes or villages.. or the capital.. and all in a lovely setting, totally away from the touristic neighbourhoods that turn into ghost towns when it it is off season… we went end November and it was just perfect!

The accommodation is beautiful, modern and equipped with everything we could have wished for. Andreas and Maria were very kind and attentive hosts. They provided us with excellent breakfast (partially consisting of vegetables and fruits growing in the beautiful garden of the property) and perfectly tempered bottles of their exquisite selection of wines. This is the perfect accommodation for everyone enjoying some calm moments in a tasteful and remote place. But it's also a good location to start excursions by car, going to the mountains or the beaches of Naxos.

We have stayed at several hotels in Greece. This was on the top of the list of best stays ever. We had a wonderful experience in Xerolithos. Excellent property, with a fantastic garden with local fruits, and the amenities were great.  The owners, Andreas and Maria, were delightful and eager to help! incredibly hospitable! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and advised us to discover beautiful Naxos beaches and the islands amazing gastronomy. Xerolithos offers everything you need. We will definitely stay there when we come back to Naxos! Thank you!

Everything about my stay at Xerolithos was amazing. From the start Andreas and Mary went above and beyond to accommodate me and make me feel welcomed. The room itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the view from the back patio was unreal. I was very comfortable during my stay here, I was always so excited to return to my room at the end of the day. The location is stunning, very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature, and it’s close by to a lot of nice villages and beaches. 100% I’d recommend to anyone
