The rooms are really special and unique. The beds are very comfortable and the finishes are quality. in the morning the breakfast is made to order , with fresh baking and fruits. Our server, Arrestis was so sweet and efficient, always greeting with a smile. The host, Marios was helpful in getting us a car and mapping out a route for us to visit some interesting site and towns in the interior of the island.

The location is very remote with almost nothing around. I would say that a car is a must. I would prefer an area where you could walk to restaurants, shops and bars. There is a bus stop about a 10 minute walk away. This is the last stop on the bus route from Naxos town and it is a 30 minute bus ride to Naxos town.

Staying at Island Escape was one of the best decisions of our vacation. Marios, the host and owner, went above and beyond to ensure we were cared for, from the welcome wine he made himself to his eagerness to help us find the perfect restaurants, scooter, and vacation itinerary. Every morning, he greeted us with an amazing breakfast, too. When I got sick due to a previous medical issue, he helped us find the nearest clinic and I was able to get an appointment that morning. The hotel itself is beautiful, complete with unique details Marios created himself. It sits back from the ocean a bit, but it is only a short walk or scooter ride to some of the world's most beautiful beaches, so we did not mind. I highly recommend Island Escape for a quiet, luxury option close to the beach.

This place was amazing! The owner was so nice and went through a map of Naxos with us and gave us recommendations on villages, archaeological sites, beaches, and restaurants to check out. He was definitely one of the highlights of the trip with how great his hospitality was. The breakfast was also fantastic. AND you can’t forget about the adorable cat that lives on the hotel property, we are gonna miss him. My friend and I had the best time!

From the moment we arrived Marios and his staff were so welcoming. On arrival we received a drink, homemade biscuits and a chat about the local area, what to see, where to go and recommendations for dinner. All were spot on! The room was fabulous with a balcony looking over the sea……. perfect. The beach was a stones throw away, it was so peaceful, just what we hoped it would be. On our first evening, we returned after dinner and had a drink in the bar with various complimentary shots!! Marcos was fabulous, so interesting to talk to. We stayed up far longer than intended!! Would thoroughly recommend this place and we will be back!!

The breakfast was amazing and refreshing - just what you need after an early morning swim. We were accompanied by a lovely cat every morning, a great smile from Marios, and a lavish breakfast to start our journey. It's perfectly located close to a beautiful big beach that wasn't crowded and you could enjoy the sun. We got great daily recommendations on things to do around the island, which really enhanced our overall trip. We're leaving with many great feelings!

We were there for the second time. And were once again incredibly warmly received. A rental car (needed to be able to explore the beautiful island!) was organized for us before we arrived, and it was waiting for us right in the port (despite the delay of the ferry). Then a glass of wine upon arrival, the first tips for a successful holiday and the promise to be constantly available during your stay! Thanks a lot Marios!! The breakfast was an absolute dream, much of it made by his mom herself! Rarely experienced so great in the world! The rooms are all furnished with a lot of love, just to feel good. After just a few steps you are right on the beautiful sandy beach, you can even hear the sea murmuring at night with the windows open... What more could you want!

The location and staff were perfection. At first I thought I might have stayed too far away but was I wrong.. the beach was the best on the island (personally) it felt like I could walk from my room ( which had two horses grazing out the window) to my own private beach. Mario the host felt like family he handled an ATV to be dropped off for me to get around the island and the breakfast was unlike anything I’d ever had before.. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island.

Marius is an amazing host! He knows a lot about the island and is eager to help you to find your way around. The breakfast he serves is the best!! We would highly recommend this accommodation. Especially if your looking for a place which is quiet and not to far from the city or other nice places to see.

We absolutely loved our stay at Island Escape. Marios, Mark and the team are incredible hosts who go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time in Naxos, from helping to organise a car, to telling you all the best local spots and even lending a beach umbrella. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and clean and the breakfasts are superb! We look forward to coming back on our next trip.

Nothing - everything was great!

Located at the very end of the developed part of Plaka Beach, this is the perfect hideaway and yet it’s just around the corner from some of the best beach loungers and restaurants on the island. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. Marios is the perfect host. He is friendly and welcoming, and will arrange anything you need, including transportation and activities. He helped us refine our itinerary and I’m so glad we took his advice.
