The location was excellent: subway entrance just around the corner, walking distance to Times Square, 5th Avenue, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Train Station. Having breakfast at the hotel proved to be a great advantage, and apart from that, it was quite good for non-European standard :) Water and hot drinks were available 24/7 at the lobby.

Front desk crew might have been a little more helpful. We tried to arrange a late checkout (+2h) but in the end, after 9 days spent in the hotel, we were informed that it will not be possible because 'system doesn't let it'. Final experience was booking a taxi through the reception crew - I specifically asked for a flat rate taxi (because I knew it exists between Manhattan and JFK), but we got some 'local' guy, speaking spanish, in a civil car, driving reckless and in the end we paid $30 more than for a taxi. I felt 'misinformed' to say the least.

Comfortable room with very good bathroom and kitchenette facilities. Breakfasts were good, staff very nice and helpful. The location was excellent ... on the edge of Midtown and just a few yards from a subway station. On our last day, there was a generous check-out time (midday) and the staff were happy to store our luggage temporarily.

In-room storage was a bit tight.

The location is fantastic, with all the major attractions just a short walk away. It truly feels like you're at the heart of the city, making it an ideal spot for families who prefer not to rely on the subway to reach Times Square. I really enjoyed the breakfast. While it was the same each day, it had all the essential elements needed to kickstart the morning in a satisfying way. The staff were exceptionally courteous and went out of their way to assist with even the smallest of requests, which we truly appreciated.

Although the room was understandably small, given its proximity to Times Square, I wasn't fond of the sofa bed—it wasn’t very comfortable. Additionally, the carpet color felt a bit dull for my taste. However, considering the prime location, it’s to be expected.

Breakfast was good, plentiful, varied selections each day, presented well, nutritious, and enjoyable.

We needed a place to stay during a 17 hour layover in NYC. The Town Place Suites are centrally located and you can walk to iconic places or easily access public transportation to move about the city. There was an issue with my card and the staff got in touch with me and were able to resolve the situation without losing our reservation. They have a comfortable and cozy lobby with 24 hr self-service bar of tea, water, coffee and hot chocolate. The King Studio suite was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Really liked the well equipped and stocked kitchenette and bathroom. I would stay here again.

The location is amazing, near from subway and Time Square. The Hotel is clean and the staff very friendly. The room had everything that we needed!

There is just one elevator for the hole hotel and is very slowly on rush times. In the breakfast, were few tables (around 5 for all rooms) available to use it, so the most days we use the mini table next to the coach to do our meal was not comfortable. All dishes were paper/plastic made (too much trash).

-Wonderful location, very friendly staff. -There is free coffee in the lobby all day, amazing! -The kitchenette in the room is wonderful if you're staying for more than a few days (I stayed for 9) and want to make something healthy and simple yourself. -The room is small, might be crowded for 2 adults, which I was fine with as a solo traveler. Definitely don't consider adding a 3rd person. -Overall highly recommend if you want to stay near Times Square and want good value on your money.

-The elevator is VERY slow. I used the stairs all the time and had no problem with it. But do take this under consideration if you need elevators due to disability, children etc. -The breakfast is on the simple side, many processed breads and all, but there are eggs, oatmeal and yogurt, good enough for me. You could be let down if you are expecting a full continental breakfast with lots of variety.

This hotel is located near by Times square and Broadway theaters. We could come back to the hotel very fast and safely after the musical show is over at night. All the staff of this hotel is so nice to guests. Every night we came back to hotel, they welcomed us with warming greeting. They tried to do their best to deal with guest's request. Furthermore, room cleaning was perfect. Even though I tend to be picky about cleanlinessstayed, the cleaning staff did their job perfectly and made me amazed. I really appreciate their effort. I will visit this hotel again!

Slow elevator (but not that bad..)

Perfect location, just two minutes walk from Times Square and 20m from the subway station to get to the airport and the main attractions. Breakfast, both sweet and savoury, not too much choice but good. Not much space in the breakfast room, but you can always find room on the sofas. Rooms not very large but adequate and with cooking facilities. Very friendly staff. Cleanliness excellent. Definitely my place to stay if I ever get back to New York!

Breakfast room too small

The small size of the rooms was something we expected, as in NYC, a larger room in such a prime location would require a higher budget. However, I wish I could rate the cleanliness and service higher than a perfect 10. On top of that, we have never encountered such friendly and welcoming staff before. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

The only downside was the use of disposable utensils and plates, which created a lot of waste. I believe there's no need to harm the environment this much, and switching to more sustainable options would make a big difference.
