We enjoyed staying at this property which is a lovingly renovated building using the characteristic Lecce stone with a bit of an artistic vibe. The location was excellent- just slightly off the town centre so reasonably quiet but very close to sights, bars and restaurants. We stayed in the first floor two room unit which stepped onto a lovely terrace with a view of the entrance to the old town. The accommodation was spacious, bright, well equipped with kitchenette and very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but with good local products and a friendly welcome from Carmen. We didn’t use any other facilities so can’t comment on those. We felt at reception Martina provided an excellent check- in experience, was easy to communicate with and took an interest in the guests well-being, regularly enquiring if everything was fine. We appreciated the information about local restaurants and they proved to be good recommendations. All in all we had a very comfortable and restful stay in beautiful Lecce. Would come again.

Hot water could be intermittent. I understand the large terrace is communal for all guests which might raise privacy issues for the two units directly adjoining the terrace at busier times. Not a problem when we were there so not a dislike, but something to be aware / to check with hotel at time of booking, if that may be a concern for you.

The charming staff and the wonderful breakfasts - thank you, Mirella! - were the highlights of our stay. The location was also brilliant. We very much enjoyed sitting in the rooftop garden in the evening, looking down at the Porta di Napoli and the local people and visitors taking their evening strolls in the square below. The location was also excellent for getting to the main sites in the city. On a practical note, LuLeccio is also very close to a secure car park, should you have a car.

The outside area for our room had no view and was effectively by a passageway - but I can see that there was little other option for a room on the ground floor. And the hand-basin had no proper plug - very elegant but not efficient!

Location was fantastic, on the edge of the historic centre of Lecce next to the Napoli Gate. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment with large private sun terrace, both rooms were spacious - one with ensuite and one with a separate bathroom next door. Breakfast was fantastic and served in a lovely ground floor room with views across the street to the Gate. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The staff were great and even gave us a welcome gift to celebrate our anniversary.

This was an outstanding find! The location & facilities were wonderful! But above all it was the staff that stood out! Carmen deserves 20 stars for her wonderful greeting each morning and Martina and the rest of the crew went out of their way to help us & make us feel welcome. The location at the edge of the old town made it a perfect for exploring both the new & old cities. It will absolutely be on our list of places to return to.

Roberto has restored a beautiful stone structure into a modern hotel. The hotel actually shares the 15th Century city wall! There are two patios on the second and third floors (counting floors like we do in the US) with great views. Our room had 30-foot stone ceilings, a small refrigerator and stove, great rain shower, and small enclosed outdoor seating area! Breakfast was quite affordable — everything homemade by Matteo including the bread and cakes. The butter even was home made, the boiled eggs from Roberto’s farm and the oranges from his tree. Martine checked us in — gave us lots of ideas of what to see, where to go and where to eat, and then gave us her phone number so we could text her, which we did seeking her expert advice on restaurants, which was spot on. Can’t say enough good about this exceptional property in this gorgeous city!

The location is perfect, just in the old historic centre so you can visit the city easily by foot but very easy to reach by car with parking space available at short walking distance. The hotel itself is a 15th century palazzo which has been renovated with a lot of eye for detail and clearly with a lot of passion. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful stay which exceeded our expectations.

We love everything about it. A beautifully restored historic building, that gives the opportunity to visit Lecce from a great location. A special mention to the hotel’s staff that were exceptionally warm and attentive, making you feel at home as soon as you check in. All in all a perfect blend of elegance and comfrt with exceptional service

This is a very unique Hotel. It is small and not predictable. It has some quirky rooms, with interesting bathroom layouts, we are older and wished a more conventional bathroom, which they readiily accommodated for us!

The aesthetic is beautiful and bohemian, but comfort is important too. I do feel the aesthetic in some areas ruled comfort.

Excellent location in the Centro Storica. Main sights are within easy walking distance as are restaurants and bars. Easy parking nearby. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast uses fresh local produce, much of it coming from the family farm. Room was comfortable with good facilities. We would stay here again when in Lecce.

Roberto, Martina, Carmen and the rest of the staff make you feel at home at all times. The service and location is excellent to have a beautiful stay at Lecce. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Don’t doubt on asking about the best spots to go in and near Lecce, they know the best beaches nearby!
