I recently stayed at Palazzo Gorgoni and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is fantastic—very close to the center and situated in a safe neighborhood. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, Overall, a great stay.

It would greatly benefit from improved ventilation and the use of dehumidifiers. Addressing this issue would significantly enhance the overall experience.

The check-in was excellent. Martina was very friendly and took time to inform us. We felt welcomed and looked after and had the sense that she would be there if we needed her. She allowed us later check-out as there was nobody coming into the room after us. This, we highly appreciated. The room was large and comfortable.

The bathroom was a little dated and could do with a renovation! The internet did not work well in the room - likely because the walls are so thick!

After an initial misunderstanding (a double booking due to a strange communication on the check-in hours) and quite unapologetic attitude from the on the matter we managed to clear things got a refund on the double booking. All this aside the place is marvelous!!! Go for the triple room! No double! No deluxe! One of the biggest rooms I've stayed in. The cleanliness of the bathroom (and the bathroom size) is faaar from perfect but given everything else is so amazing, this can be forgiven :)

Palazzo Gorgoni is in the perfect central location to explore the city! The building is just stunning, the stone walls and the high ceilings gave me the feeling I was in one of the rooms you would see in a movie. And Giovanna is so friendly and super easy to reach out to, and she gave me a lot of recommendations for local places to visit. I loved every second of my stay.

I absolutely loved this property and my stay in Lecce! Giovanna was a great host - she met us at our car and helped us wheel our bags to the property, paid for our first night of parking and gave us lots of great recommendations and tips for local restaurants and sites. The property was a lovely old building in the middle of the old town, walking distance to everywhere and we loved getting our coffee and croissant for breakfast everyday from the cafe nearby. I would totally recommend Lecce and Palazzo to anyone visiting Puglia!

The location was excellent for seeing Lecce on foot; the decorations were very pretty; the cafe where the breakfast was served was close and the breakfast was good and included fresh-squeezed orange juice. There were many good dining options nearby.

The palazzo, although lovely in many ways, is in need of some upkeep. The shower leaked, there was no cold water in either the shower or the sink. But the room was large and comfortable overall.

lovely to see how the old characterful property has been adapted to a B and B - our room had church like ceilings and the shower was built into the stone walls.
