The property was spacious, clean and quiet. The shower hot. There was a wall heater which could pump hot or cold air - you may need cold in the day and hot at night in Lecce! There was a third bed so presumably you could sleep 3 in this room. There was a small table and an entry area which added to the feeling of space. I hadn’t realised you couldn’t check in until 4 pm which I think is absurdly late. The owner did give me the entry code to the property and I was able to leave my luggage in the unattended reception area. The owner was pleasant and efficient. I found a good wine bar, restaurant close by, The Miro, which seemed reasonably priced and had friendly staff.

I think it was probably good value for money. However, despite being spacious the room only has one small window that opens onto a tiny enclosed area, The bed was too soft for my liking and the pillows so large that I had to sleep without them. I thought when I booked it had said breakfast was included in the price but it turned out there is just some free tea and coffee and dried toasts and marmalades, etc, and that is the free breakfast. I was left wondering that if I had chosen somewhere slightly more expensive, would I have had a much better experience. I think it would be a good choice for a family of 3 on a budget.

The location is amazing. A small and quiet street, that is situated in the heart of the old city. The owner, Maurizio, is super nice and helpful. He was always available and was very friendly.

The shower is small. There is a small bin in the bathroom so if you’re staying for few days and eat at the room it might not be comfortable. A kitchen towel and a good cutting knife will turn the kitchenette from lovely to perfect.

The apartment is located in a quiet area of Lecce's old town, and is comfortable for staying and convenient for visiting the major attractions which are in a short walking distance. Maurizio was a very friendly host, and was in touch with us before and through our trip, and helped us accomadate quickly

The major drawback was that the airconditioning does not reach the upper floor of the apartment, making it hard to sleep there in hot weather.

Memory foam mattress so very comfortable and very helpful management who helped and went above and beyond when I was unwell. About a 5-10 min walk to the centre of the Old Town with plenty of food options close by. It is up a series of stairs but is a great space and so nice to have breakfast out on the terrace each morning. Small kitchenette and bathroom (it says emotional lighting which I’ve now figured out is ‘mood lighting’ that changes colours - seems to be an Italian thing) but perfect for myself. If you require lots of shower space, minimal stairs and a large space in general this may be a challenge for you. As a 30 y/o solo traveller it’s great! Wifi is strong and readily available. But, my highlight was the Maurizio and his team. To have people to help when you’re travelling solo, don’t speak the language and are unwell is priceless. Tip: if you’re planning to see more than 2 of the main churches/cathedrals they require paid entry so I suggest getting the multi entry pass which gets you into all of them plus the tower for €22 (one can be €7-10). This is a town for walking so wear shoes that you’re happy to meander in. :)

Had a lovely stay while in Lecce. Bed and pillows are so comfortable. Room is beautiful with nice design of the ceiling. Mauricio the owner is so hospitable and went above and beyond to help his guests. Would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Lecce. Also perfect location right in the middle of old town and yet so quiet at night away from major streets.

Everything was good, the neighborhood was quiet and 3 minutes from the historic center and the rooms was exactly what we expected, the staff was helpful and kind, I recommend it and I would chose it 100% if I will come to Lecce again.

The location is perfect! The old part of town is so clean and nicely restored and this accomodation is easy walking to the lovely squares, amphitheatre, castle, and 10-15 mins to train and bus stations.

The cleaning seemed a little hit and miss-mostly fine but there was someone’s long hair stuck on the shower wall and breakfast crumbs from previous guests on the table.

It’s located close to the centre. Need to walk for 18 mins from train station. It’s decorated nicely.

Floor with sticky dirts. There’s a sloppy stair to reach the property. The air-conditioner doesn’t work very well.

Had the suite room with a roof terrace. The breakfast provided in the room was good as was the use of the kitchenette.

Breakfast may have been better, but the use of the roof terrace offset the self-service breakfast

The host is super friendly and really gentle. The location is just perfect Super comfy mattress!!!! The suite has a balcony with a breathtaking view. A unique breakfast is served in the room. On top of all of that, he graciously helped us with the luggage and drove us to the parking! Thank you again!
