The charming staff and the wonderful breakfasts - thank you, Mirella! - were the highlights of our stay. The location was also brilliant. We very much enjoyed sitting in the rooftop garden in the evening, looking down at the Porta di Napoli and the local people and visitors taking their evening strolls in the square below. The location was also excellent for getting to the main sites in the city. On a practical note, LuLeccio is also very close to a secure car park, should you have a car.

The outside area for our room had no view and was effectively by a passageway - but I can see that there was little other option for a room on the ground floor. And the hand-basin had no proper plug - very elegant but not efficient!

Roberto has restored a beautiful stone structure into a modern hotel. The hotel actually shares the 15th Century city wall! There are two patios on the second and third floors (counting floors like we do in the US) with great views. Our room had 30-foot stone ceilings, a small refrigerator and stove, great rain shower, and small enclosed outdoor seating area! Breakfast was quite affordable — everything homemade by Matteo including the bread and cakes. The butter even was home made, the boiled eggs from Roberto’s farm and the oranges from his tree. Martine checked us in — gave us lots of ideas of what to see, where to go and where to eat, and then gave us her phone number so we could text her, which we did seeking her expert advice on restaurants, which was spot on. Can’t say enough good about this exceptional property in this gorgeous city!

The location is perfect, just in the old historic centre so you can visit the city easily by foot but very easy to reach by car with parking space available at short walking distance. The hotel itself is a 15th century palazzo which has been renovated with a lot of eye for detail and clearly with a lot of passion. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful stay which exceeded our expectations.

Excellent location in the Centro Storica. Main sights are within easy walking distance as are restaurants and bars. Easy parking nearby. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast uses fresh local produce, much of it coming from the family farm. Room was comfortable with good facilities. We would stay here again when in Lecce.

The location is very good; just inside the old town walls.. The junior suite is charming, good size and offsite parking is easy to find. Roberto, the owner/operator is very hands on and gave very good recommendations for where to visit and restaurants to eat at.

A very comfortable suite with outdoor terrace in the best location in Lecce. Your terrace overlooks Porta Napoli! We highly recommend this property if you decide to visit. Paid parking available within 5 min walk just outside city walls.

Breakfast service, especially variety of provided options, could be improved.

Beautiful, prime location in Lecce. Only two things…the WiFi was terrible and the owner ultimately had to move the router to our room to work. Also, there was a second floor loft in our room that is not insulated whatsoever and sounds like a train above anytime someone walked up there.

This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The rooms are gorgeous and thoughtfully designed, the building is incredible and perfectly restored, and the location is perfect - in the historical centre but right near parking. The staff are amazing and so friendly, including the owner Roberto! Thank you so much.

LuLeccio is a fully renovated comfortable property that retains the beauty of the original edifice. Its location inside the historic city is superb for walking to all the important sites and restaurants. The breakfast was sumptuous and very tasty. Roberto and his staff are great hosts!

Fantastic accomodation. We had a two bedroom apartment with a private terrace and is was simply spectacular. My wife and 4 kids had an amazing time. Roberto, Elisa and Alessandra were great hosts and gave us 6 star service. Thank you from the Tripodi family.
