Rooms are nice. Quite small and old furnished but actually very comfortable. Also we had small balcony with an amazing Mountain View so I can’t complain. Everything was clean and air conditioner worked well so room got warm fast. Geres doesn’t really have many restaurants and shops but even those few you need are super close to this hotel. Also pharmacy. And ofc it is located in the heart of Geres National park so by car you can reach any natural attraction. Restaurants and shops are in 5-10 mins walking distance but for mountains and trails you better go by car. Well, at least coffee was always good and hot, plus they had pancakes and a pie besides things to make yourself a sandwich. Also you can have tea and fresh fruits any time besides breakfast. Plus usually we took some extra yogurt to have it as a snack for later. This hotel has its own garage what was really good not to leave the car just on the narrow street

I found breakfast quite simple and after 3 nights it was really nice to have something different.

The breakfast was a quite nice continental style. There were a variety of options based on teste and food tolerance.Everyone there worked hard but also kindly. I like the balcony to my room.

I'm not ready to say I "didn't like" that some foods ran out and did not get replaced. I expect there was an ecological reason for some and a matter of dishwasher priorities for others, The only things I missed were a chance to have pastrami and water. On the other hand, I got fresh melon and lovely sauces. I needed Kleenex, alas.

The property was very well located, 200m from the main street where all the restaurants and shops are! It’s a very charming chalet with comfortable rooms, the decor makes you feel like you are truly in the nature with lots of rocks and wood in the structure. We really enjoyed our stay, the free parking lot is very convenient considering that there isn’t any parking space in the street! The breakfast is great and the staff is super friendly and really helpful. The balcony had a great Mountain View and it was a dream to wake up to. The rooms have AC witch is great but the only thing that was missing was a minibar for water since it was super hot out and we had to buy ice everyday to have fresh water in the hikes, it would be very much appreciated if the property invested in it for next time. Anyways, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet and comfortable stay!

Loved everything about it! The only things that would make it even more perfect were a minibar in the rooms and a pool! Also would really appreciate if breakfast started a bit earlier, 8:30 isn’t the best for people that go on big hikes or want to go to the river before it’s super crowded!

It is a bit of an older hotel but, still very clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. It is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants and offers easy access to the park. We basically used it as our base for exploring the park. They have free parking in a locked garage which is always appreciated.

We enjoyed our 4 days here. The room was clean (and it was cleaned daily). The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. It rained a lot, and we made good use of the common area downstairs with a fireplace. The owner (Armando) was extremely helpful. He never made us feel rushed, and he gave us a lot of information. We couldn’t have asked for better service. The rest of the staff was friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

Very close to the centre of the villa, the staff was very nice, the breakfast was really complete for a 2 star hotel and the triple room was very spacious for three people.

The staff did not clean our room/change our towels/empty the garbage during our whole stay. The only garbage bin in the room was very tiny.

Great location. Continental breakfast was quite varied and included fruit bread cake yogurt. Room was very clean and the property had also common rooms to sit watch TV and play games. Friendly staff. No fridge in the room but we could leave some food in the hotel fridge.

The room was marked as having a view but had limited views because it was the ground floor and there was a house in front. There was a ventilator in the room that made some noise and was impossible to switch off, and the bed was not the most comfortable.

This is a very charming hotel on the mountainside just outside the national park. It’s an ideal location if you plan on exploring in the park. Our room was simple, but very comfortable and had a great view even from the back side of the hotel. I didn’t have a hair dryer and was able to borrow one from the front desk. The staff answered so many of our questions about the area; they were so helpful! Breakfast includes breads, cheese, meat, cereals, yogurt, jams, coffee, and juice. There’s a beautiful view from the breakfast room as well. The hotel has its own parking garage. You need to park on the street just in front to check in, then get the key for the garage before you park.

This is a great hotel! The only thing I would suggest is to add some gluten free bread and dairy free milk at breakfast.

Perfect location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Easy access with the car. Parking garage available. Beautiful building and views to the mountains. Spacious room, comfortable bed and mountain view. Quite environment.

The coffee. The breakfast is simple but fine though.

The hotel is in a very nice location. The staff is incredibly friendly.

The breakfast was good, but the same every day. It would have been nice to have some variety. They could add hard-boiled eggs to the selection, for example.
