Beautiful location tucked into the hillside. Stunning views of the sea and small islands, delightful gardens from your balcony. Breakfast buffet is served in the Amvrosia restaurant. Here you can find a selection of cooked/cold continental/ pastries/ fruits/ bread/ muffins/ preserves/ juices and fresh water and the Omelette/pancake bar. Tea and coffee served at your table. To say the staff are helpful is something of an understatement. They are all invested in one thing and that is to make sure you have a great holiday. Two pools with easy access steps and a small toddler pool. The K Bar serving drinks and snacks between the two pools was always a welcoming, clean and well staffed watering hole. Light lunches delicious but if you want something more substantial then that was catered for in two further dining areas overlooking the Aegean. Access to the beach down paved shallow steps or a slope with handrail. Staff available to bring drinks down to you on the beach. A few yards along the beach is the Water Taxi jetty. There is a timetable sign and you just wait on the beach, (not on the jetty, the guys need room to jump off and tie up the boat plus bits of the jetty move when the boat gets alongside) A trip into Skiathos Town takes 15mins and costs 4 euros and you arrive right in the middle of countless shops and water front bars and restaurants. Back up on the main road are bus stops to take you into town or along the coast to some wonderful beaches. Two euros to get to Koukounaries for example. Buses run every 15 mins and the bus stops are numbered. Kassandra Bay resort is number 8. We hired a Suzuki Jimny for a couple of days, organised by the hotel. The car was delivered and picked up. Communication with the hotel before the holiday was easy by email. Information about our stay, any special requests and queries were readily and promptly dealt with.

The downside about being in such a pretty location is that you have to be able to manage a few steps and gentle slopes.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. They always made you feel like they were happy to see you, never letting an opportunity go by to smile and speak. The ladies at the front desk were gracious and wanted to make sure all my family's needs were addressed. Absolutely awesome. And the food at the restaurants (especially Mesoyios) was GREAT! I know you are on an island with so many food options, but please take one night to eat there. Being right on the beach was a huge bonus. Between the beach and the pools, there was always a spot available to relax by water, with really good drink service. And you are right next to a water taxi to and from the Old Port. We used that several times and thought it was the best way to get to Skiathos Town. And I don't know if it was the design of the place or just the nature of Skiathos, but the resort was almost completely booked but NEVER felt crowded. Never got loud.

The included breakfast buffet left a little to be desired, but there are certainly enough options to get a decent meal in. Compared to everything else, it was disappointed that it felt like "typical" resort breakfast buffet. Perhaps that's just compared to the wonderful food elsewhere at the resort. The rooms were a little smaller than the pics made them looks. Nothing bad, but smaller. We initially planned for me, my wife, and my two teen daughters to stay in one room. We immediately requested an additional room. And the staffing could not have been more accommodating. But... if you 3 or 4 people, do what you can to get the largest suites they have or plan to have multiple rooms.

The location couldn’t be better. It’s lovely and stylish and very comfortable beds. Lovely rooms.

I really didn’t like how they segregated the dining room in the morning for people staying in the suites and those staying in rooms, whether deluxe, king, etc. I found out that we were paying more for a deluxe room because of booking earlier and we could have had a suite for a lesser price. But still you were relegated to a lesser breakfast room. If I had known only suites had use of the infinity pool and other extras when I booked I would have chosen the suite.

If you want a holiday where you just lay back, rest and relax this is the place. The beach, the pools and service are excellent. Transport into town is either a short 2 euro ride into town or 4 euro taxi boat. Even to walk into Skiathos along Megali-Ammos beach is easy. Hiring a vehicle / quad is simple and exploring the island is fantastic.

This property is a hidden gem. The staff is what makes the difference, especially the manager. George R., he was a true professional and always checked in with us to make sure everything was going great. The rooms were fantastic with a lovely view. I was greatly impressed with George and his team.

It was the end of the season so it was a little quiet, but that’s not the hotel’s fault

Location is great, water taxi from the back into town each night. Amazing breakfast, great pools & incredible staff who go above & beyond time after time

The room cleaning could’ve been more in depth, and there was no stocking up of teas & coffees

The hotel had fantastic facilities particularly the beach. There were always sun beds available and a great drinks service on the beach. The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was also good. The boat taxi was good to the town.

Requested a double and got two single beds.

KBR is a great hotel, located very close to the city centre with multiple beaches and amenities nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The rooms were very spacious and offering a great sea view.

Beach towels are limited to one per person per day, which isn't ideal. Car park is quite small and you are not always guaranteed a parking spot, even though you are a hotel guest.
