Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Very comfy bed and pillows. Clean and big room. Overall a great stay and a good location to visit the surroundings.

Small details that can be improved such as the sticks of the pool table should be changed, the chess pieces were incomplete. There was some dirt in the bottom of the swimming pool.

i have been charged twice for the property as was advised at check out the card payment i had made the previous day had not been logged which was incorrect. i emailed booking.com & property but still unresolved and no response from Grand Hotel directly at all. details attached

Nice decoration of lobby and the rooms. The hotel is close to the highway and ideal for a stop over. Nevertheless the hotel is a concrete appartment block in an industrial area of Nimes. So don´t expect nice surroundings.

Parking and entrance "garden" not well mainained. In general the close environment is not the cleanest. Furthermore the restaurant is more of a rip off.

Some staff at the reception barely speack english and the hotel is not equiped to accept contactless payments (neither phone or card) Dear hotel, on my arival at 11PM there was a receptionist perfectly speaking English, however at my checkout (morning around 8.30 AM) there was another receptionist that was barely speacking English (ony French) and this receptionist when I was talking was giving me the mobile phone asking me to speack on the on the phone to use google translate to translate in French what I was saying, vice versa when the receptionist was talking was using google translate and showing me the message translated (I speack fluently English, Spanish and ofc Italian). And I didn't gave 2,5 rather I gave 6 as you can see in the review
