Loved Casa Almara. Stayed in the ground floor quadruple room which was clean and comfortable. Beautifully restored building with lovely terrace spaces on upper levels to enjoy the views. Espejo is very small, and it was winter when we stayed so the town was very quiet, and we were the only people staying at Casa Almara. No breakfast was served while we were there, but we did have access to tea / coffee facilities. Easy drive into Cordoba from Casa Almara.

Our stay here is one of the highlights of our 2 month trip in Spain. This hotel could not be more perfect and Ivan, the owner was so welcoming and helpful to us as we are cycling and needed some advice on routes. The building has been beautifully renovated by the owners, every comfort is provided for, our room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, the views from the several terraces are amazing and it was an exceptional breakfast. We are only sorry we could not have stayed for more than one night! Highly recommended. And this hilltop town is very interesting to explore.

Stylish , beautifully restored historical property with many thoughtful features. Glorious terraces to relax with the local wine and cheese plate offered by our exceptional host Ivan. He went above and beyond to enhance our stay. He arranged our transportation to Cordoba. His property is wonderful and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Beatiful place to stay in, you can truly feel the andalusian spirit there. Clean, quiet, with beatiful views, tasty breakfast and still very close to Cordoba. You can really get rest there, even if you travel with kids :-) And what's most important - the host is super friendly and helpful. Should we ever travel to Andalusia again, we'll definitely stay there!

The meticulous attention to detail and relaxed vibe were evident in every room. The outdoor spaces and rooftop provided a serene retreat to unwind after a warm day. The picturesque views and charming surroundings of Espejo added to the enchanting atmosphere.

Dining options in the village are limited, so O would recommending getting some groceries on the way to the village.

Very charming and nice old traditional house, beautiful view from the window, nice wanderful village, where we had a great walk after dinner. The bathroom was equipped with all necessary items, we could seat outside in a charming patio and also a terrace situated few levels up, having a very nice view.

The room we stayed in was facing the street and the noise from the traffic was quite uncomfortable: the original wooden windows having terrible soundproofing...

A preciously restored old building with arabic patio and elements by the owner, with much love for details. The atmosphere and the attention by the owner to his guests is unique.

A lovely historic building that included a patio with a great view of the town and countryside. Our room had old world charm and was very clean and quiet. The owners were very accommodating and helpful.

Fantastic house and place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the landscape from the terrace - perfectly located on the Ruta del Califato! Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night! Super friendly host- thank you Ivan!

This house is a meticulously restored, welcoming place with several terraces. There are many interesting books and decorative touches. The ambience is one of calm and quiet after a day seeing Cordoba or doing a wine tour nearby. The delicious breakfast is offered for a very reasonable cost, especially considering the quality of the offerings. Best of all is the amazing, multi lingual host Ivan. You will immediately feel his warmth and generosity of spirit as he takes time to explain the possibilities around Espejo. You cannot make a better choice.
