Overall, the hotel gives an amazing experience of being near rice fields and in a quiet area, while still offering a high quality room and wifi all over the hotel. The services in the hotel are great as well - specially the restaurant and the staff.

A few specific details that I have to mention, hopefully it could be useful for others: - The toilet doesn't have any doors, so it could be an awkward situation for couples that haven't been together for long lol - Although the hotel is supposed to be adult-only, there was a family with a baby and a young kid in the room above ours. We could hear the baby crying the whole night, which made us miss a whole day of touristing because we couldn't sleep. When we complained to the hotel, they only gave us some free coffee. This was a major disappointment considering all the rest of the experience, I'm really hoping this was a one-off and doesn't happen to other guests in the future

This was such an incredible stay. We booked the private villa with the private pool and it was delightful. From the very first welcome we felt right at home. The staff went above and beyond constantly making us feel so valued. While there we tried the spa, morning yoga and did a cooking class - all of which were wonderful. The breakfast menu is really broad and we even got a complementary floating breakfast. The hotel also provides a free shuttle van back and forth from Ubud centre which was a great addition. Definitely recommend and cannot wait to return!

Nothing it was wonderful!

Loved it! The room was spacious and nicely decorated, the hotel facilities, pool and common areas were beautiful. The staff was more than nice, the level of hospitality was amazing. We celebrated birthday there but we did not mention anything to the staff - nevertheless they prepared a cake with a candle for breakfast and gave their wishes, it was such a nice gesture. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, so was the food in the evening - we usually do not go to hotel restaurants cause they are often not on a good level but here we liked it a lot. Overall, would come back any time!

Beautiful hotel with a stunning architecture and a nice view to the rice fields and palm trees. Rooms are great and have great functional interior and a beautiful bamboo roof. The Bath tab and rainfall shower with hot water are amazing. Huge variety of food at the restaurant. Breakfast was always absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the free walking tour through the rice fields and an amazing yoga session. Thanks for the great stay.

Bintang is a bit pricy for Bali, besides that everything else was just wonderful ;).

The resort pays great attention to room decor, and the rooms offer beautiful views. The staff are nice, though some activities are on the pricier side.

Everything was perfect. Anything we wanted was done, they never said no to any of our requests. The team is exceptional. Everybody, from the maintenance team to the manager Tagel ensured our stay was perfect. The breakfast was the best we had at any hotel. It was very varied (I think around 15 choices of main dishes) and the portions were so big that most days we did not eat lunch. The a la carte dinner menu was also exceptional. Varied, very tasty and in a great atmosphere! The gym is well equipped, I was able to do basic training. The pool and gardens are very clean and quiet. Also, there are not many guests so everybody has their intimacy. My wife treated herself to a 90 minute massage, which again was very nice.

We loved the remote location, we stayed in villa 4 -30min from city centre Food was delicious a la carte breakfast so no wastage- dinner set menu we ate one night and watched the performance dancers x2 and musicians x6(I think) Beautiful view of paddy rice field’s Loved the big bath We used the bikes and did a ride to the waterfall one morning-easy enough ride there and back Gym is small, clean & has enough for a workout -windows open & fan, no A/C.

Muffled voices and noise from neighbouring villa but not too disturbing

My partner and I stayed here for two nights as a quiet getaway for my birthday, away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. The room was fantastic and the workers were very personable. The staff went above and beyond for my birthday, including decorating the bed, bath and bringing a slice of cake out to the pool all while singing happy birthday. The location was quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to the centre of Ubud if you wanted to do things (spoiler alert, we ended up cancelling majority of our plans to stay at the resort as it was so quiet). We also met a lovely little female cat that befriended my partner and I during the stay, and she ended up leading us to her litter of seven kittens. We informed the staff and they were quick to follow us over and helped us with the kittens. We were told they would arrange for the kittens to go to an organisation that helps kittens/cats in Bali and we hope that the kittens will have a long and happy life. Overall an excellent stay.

We can't put into words how much of an amazing time we had at the Wakanada. We're not usually hotel/resort people, so everything to us was 10/10 excellent and exceptional! The location is in a very secluded, quiet area which was a very much needed break from our non-stop, hectic travel around SEA. To us, it was breathtaking, especially the view from the pool! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and they always had a smile on their faces. Whatever you needed, they were happy to help. Special shoutout to Jared/Jered (sorry can't remember how to spell your name!), he was always made sure we had everything we needed and was great to chat to. The food was great and they had a lot of options to choose from and reasonably priced for a hotel! We loved how you could also have breakfast delivered to your room (we didn't try this, but it was an option). The afternoon tea was a nice touch with Indonesian cakes and pastries. Extras we paid for: - Floating Breakfast: Only 100k extra as it's the breakfast that's included with your stay just presented and eaten by the pool. - Photoshoot: We 100% recommend doing the photoshoot, it is well worth the money. We got some excellent shots of us around the property! - Massage: 100% recommend too.
