Andi and the boys make you so welcome, it is exceptionally clean and the food at the snack bar is excellent. The location is great 5 minutes to the many bars and restaurants and 10 minutes to beach. It is evident that Andi and her team really enjoy what they do and this comes across in the excellent service. If we are in Zante again will only stay here, well done to you all.

Nothing to dislike.

Our stay was in a deluxe triple room on the first floor of the property's new building. The air-conditioned room was spacious and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, and there was an open wardrobe for clothes, shoes, and luggage. The room was cleaned daily, and we received fresh towels daily (upon request) and sheets every other day. The balcony offered a great view of the garden and swimming pool, as well as the adjacent vineyard and the village. The swimming pool area was also very nice and clean, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast was à la carte, with several options freshly prepared when ordered. The snack bar offered several reasonably priced options for snacks, light meals, and drinks throughout the day. The hotel's location is excellent for exploring Alikanas village, as you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach. Despite being close to amenities, it's still a quiet area, set off the main tourist road. The location is also convenient for driving around, allowing you to reach both the northern and southern parts of the island in approximately 30-40 minutes (depending on traffic). Ms. Antigoni, the owner, was always available to help and serve her customers with kindness and a big smile, as was the rest of the staff.

We stayed in the duplex apartment. Spacious apartment. Very modern. Very clean. WiFi and tv if needed. Beautiful apartment great views, comfortable beds 2 bathrooms perfect for adults and teenage kids to have their own. Really recommend the hotel, staff very lovely and very helpful, food at the hotel was vey nice too. All good prices. Pool area was nice lots of shade for all. Big car park if you’re renting a car. Highly recommend.

We received a warm welcome from proprietress Andi. A quieter area off the main drag with mature British couples, who appeared to be returning visitors. We had a lovely balcony view of the ample sized pool and background mountains. The first Taverna you walk past - Vrysaki - is probably the best in the area. Also convenient to have basic self catering facilities (fridge, stove). In early June it was always possible to find a sunbed (although quite a few tourists put their towels on them to "reserve" which can be annoying!). The bar/restaurant area is popular.

The bathroom/shower space is tight. Shampoo and soap were not replenished so I had to buy some. It would have been nice to supply some washing up liquid in a refillable bottle and a cloth/scourer as I also had to buy these (as well as salt, pepper and oil - felt wasteful to throw them away).

Great location set back from the Main Street so that bit quieter. The owner and her sons were so accommodating and lovely. The new rooms are beautifully modern and comfortable. Lovely stay.

Through no fault of the property, the only downside of the stay would be my own fault of not being prepared for the mosquitoes (mid-September stay). Bring the plug ins for the room.

Ideal location - quiet with easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Fab swimming pool. Stayed in the new block which was lovely. Cleaned daily with fresh towels, hairdryer, fridge, kettle & safe. Bring own towels for the pool. Very welcoming.

Andi, her boys, and all her staff are always very welcoming, friendly and can't do enough for you. Grapevines is in a perfect location on the outskirts of the village - very quiet and peaceful. Rooms and all facilities are kept scrupulously clean too. We stayed for 2 weeks, and have already rebooked for an end of season stay.

We never go back to the same hotel twice but we enjoyed the Grapevines that much in 2022 that we returned this year. We stayed in the new block where the rooms are modern and well appointed. The pool area is large and there was never a shortage of beds. The breakfasts are lovely and a nice variety. The Grapevines is in a quiet location about 15 minutes to the beach and a stroll to the bars and restaurants. Andi, the owner is friendly and very obliging as is the new bar man. We will definitely return at some point in the future.
