I had an amazing stay at Moalboal Tropic Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I also loved how peaceful the environment was—it felt like a perfect little tropical escape. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the beach and restaurants. Overall, a great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Moalboal!

The perfect place to unwind and relax. We stayed here for Canyoneering, so it was nice to have a comfortable place where we could relax and recover. The room was comfortable. I could tell the hotel was used to having visitors from abroad as they had some very nice foreign food options as well as local classics. The pool was nice, but due to the time of year, the weather was not ideal for using it.

There were a pair of massage chairs in the lobby which we made use of but, owing to the payment system not recognising the new P50 notes, we had to get the staff to change our new P50 notes for old ones. This is only a minor inconvenience, but the hotel might want to address it relatively soon.

The was very spacious, the bed is very big and comfortable. The poole is big and well maintained with slides. The hotel restaurant has a lot of choices and tasty. The staff was very friendly.

The internet is terrible in the room. Basically we couldn’t use the wifi during our stay there. We didn’t know that we had to ask for the room cleaning so we waited 3 days before somebody cleaned the room. Personally I missed the hairdryer very much.

The best thing about The Tropics for me and my girlfriend was the staff and the owner. The staff made us feel extraordinarily welcome and once the owner found out my PWD person with a disability wheelchair-bound status and that the room has a 5 cm/12.7 in. step he ***had a ramp made within 18 hours*** to avail me entering the otherwise inaccessible room. While the ramp was being fabricated we jury rigged a temporary ramp out of aluminum grates that was acceptable overnight. This added touch has never been experienced by me in all of my 40+ years of travel.

@ a ceiling fan that was either excessively rotational or off, WiFi, non-PWD compliant placement of switches, non-PWD comfort room. @ ALL of these were ameliorated by the aforementioned, never before experienced kindness of customizing a ramp for admittance to the room.

Great pool for the kids. Rooms clean and overlook the swimming pool. Friendly staff. Simple filipino breakfast with toast option also. Restaurant also has a good variety of options. Walking distance to Guisano shopping centre and McDonalds.

A little distance from the main centre but easy to get trikes. Drain in bathroom smelt a little bit common issue in the Phillipines.

Swimming pool open very fun for the kids and best part is that it is open until late. Staff very friendly. On our first day we thought breakfast was until 10am but actually it was 9am, but still the nice guy at the restaurant brought us out a meal. Deluxe rooms very good, also a very nice shower.

We stayed in a normal room first, got bitten by mosquitoes even though we all had DEET crème on. Matrasses were plastic so the sheet kept sliding off.

We liked everything about the staff and the hotel. There was a welcoming feel, and we liked the ambience of all the plants trees flora and fauna and other arrangements, above all we liked the cleanliness of the entire hotel the pool is awesome and cleaned daily, Moalboal Tropics is definitely one of the best hotels we stayed in Moalboal and we will definitely be back.

The lights are on all night along the walkway by the room window so they should have blackout curtains because the curtain they have does not block out the light from the room entirely and the bed is by the window.

The hotel itself was beautiful. The ambiance was really really good. Staff were accommodating, very hospitable, always in good mood and smiling. Special mention to Ace, Merrie, Amie and Allan and also Mr. Security guard in the morning (forgot to ask the name) We love the swimming pool. We really had a good time. Temperature was just right. Loved the cocktail The room was clean, bed was really comfortable Wifi was strong. Make sure to connect in the right location. Food was good. We loved our stay! Wish we could stay more! We will sure come back!!

Low pressure of water in the shower Using of stairs to 2nd and 3rd floor (no elevator) - not recommended to those who have small kids and babies Pool timing - we wish that will open at 6am or 7am rather than 9am.

Big spacious rooms, very neat territory with large clean pool and various water activities, the staff was very helpful and polite (among others Allan and Jomary waiters, Jassa the receptionist were very helpful), location is a bit outside main road which provides absence of noice, also no noice inside territory after 10 pm, tasty breakfasts with ability to choose dishes, bar and restaurant available on site (prices same as in the city), big shopping mall and supermarket just 5 min walk. Initially we booked for 3 days, but then prolonged for 2 weeks because our stay was amazing.

It is located quite far from all activities such as bars or massage but if you rent a motorbike or eager to take a taxi ride then it’s ok
