Hotel is on a hill overlooking a river. Looks almost like a castle in Europe. I think all the rooms face the river; and the views are great from room balconies. Breakfast buffet is very good, with Japanese and Western food selections.

Not a complaint; just a note: the road to the hotel is winding and narrow if you drive from one direction.

Good view of the river from the room and mountains from corridor. Good spa bath with outdoor bath. Very good Japanese dinner.

The buffet breakfast was disappointing for choice and for the quality of some of the items. The hotel was clean but had a slightly dated) look. Not the easiest of places to get to by public transport but the hotel provided a shuttle service.

The onsan was great. Very clean and relaxing. Located around all the historic places in Kochi.

Situated right in the river where we could swim and just relax. Staff was top of their class. Amazing stay!!!!

The property was very good. It provides half board which means they give you breakfast and dinner. The dinner was amazing and the breakfast was a help yourself buffet which suited us. The onsen is the only way you can wash as the rooms don’t have showers only toilets.

The young Indian gentleman at reception who checked me in was fantastic. Impeccable Japanese, and extremely clear and concise. I hope his employers appreciate the the value he brings to the hotel’s customer experience.

The staff was super friendly. The room was big and comfortable.

If you go by train, the get off point is just a stop. There is no train station and no taxis. You would need to walk up to the hotel, which is a 15 minute walk up a hill.

We loved the hot springs, Really good quality water. Very helpful friendly staff

No sauna which wuld make so much difference. Also no cafe bar in main are to sit and relax with friends/ family. Some areas a little dated but very clean

Room was comfortable, with a great view of the Niyodo River. Dinner was excellent, one of the best of my trip.

We liked 'Tanmen' after 9 and park near the Nyodo river.

The key was an old system and had to drop off every time we had a bath. It will be easier if that's a card key system.
