I only made a quick stop in Leipzig and spent two nights in this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, and the person at the desk welcomed me pleasantly. The hotel itself is not really in the city center, but there is a bus, which stops almost in front of it and brings you to the main train station in less than 20 minutes. Overall, I am quite satisfied of my stay.

As said, I had a good experience while staying at Merseburger Hof and I have no major concerns. The only thing I noticed is that sometimes the wi-fi was having some small problems in my room, but this was only temporary and the connection was back after a few seconds.

The room was good, it had everything you might need. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was good, there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel where you can take public transport right to the city centre. There was enough light coming in the room, and there was a window in the toilet as well.

The outside noise could get annoying sometimes, especially because there was no ac in the rooms and I had to sleep with the window open. Nonetheless, I managed to get a good sleep.

The hotel is a little gem in Leipzig. Featuring a blend of both traditional and modern outlook, the hotel has all you need for a comfortable stay. Reasonable price for the stay. Hotel is located just a step away from the tram and bus stop. So no problems in getting around Leipzig. WiFi is good and the hotel offers a buffet breakfast for 12 Euro. Rooms are decent size and overall cleanliness is excellent. Shower gel and liquid soap is provided.

The staff in the hotel are Vietnamese and although they speak German fluently, their English can do with a bit of improvement. When I was doing check in, the staff at the check in desk was struggling to communicate with me. For some reason the hot water from the shower isn’t continuous. When you switch the shower on for a few minutes there is hot water and then there is no much hot water. This is a technique used by hotels to stop guests from using too much hot water.

It was a good room, we had a huge fan there for the heat and the beds were big and comfy! The place is on a busy corner (tram station + restaurant + some punk establishment we wished to visit but then was unfortunately closed) so it's youthful and easily accessible.

It honestly looked like there was water damage in the corner of the room where the next room's neighboring bathroom starts...

The location was the reason I chose this accommodation for: it was next to the place I worked at. The room was really quiet, both during the night and during the morning hours, and quiet is my main requirement for accommodation.

The bathroom was pretty cold. Am not sure if there is anything they can do about it though.

Decent hotel located in a nice area, close to the tram and shops. Nice designed room.

Upon the checkin I had to wait a bit and nobody answered the phone. Luckily, one of the guests who was there nearby let me in and managed to reach reception so I was able to checkin after quite a long trip.

It is a great value for money place, clean, a little bit worn, but for the price great. Nice staff, good room, just a little bit our of the main hub of the city. But good conections via tram.

My only issue was being woken early by people, staff shouting when cleaning outside my door at 8am when I needed a long lie.

It was not my first stay in this hotel. I like it. The hotel is very comfy for sleeping. It is situated in a quiet district. The S-Bahn Station is nearby, and one can reach the downtown area in 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly.

I loved how big the hotel is and how kind the staff was to me. They made sure to explain everything properly so I could have a nice stay. They've also got a beautiful terrace downstairs full of tables and lights, where you can just sit and relax or have your meals. The buffet was also incredibly tasty.

I'd have to point out the fact that the room was a bit small, but for one person it's more than enough. Also, it was in a neighborhood that I didn't like much... it was calm but a little abandoned.

super clean bathroom which i always love and probably the most comfortable beds and pillows i've ever slept on!!!! pretty good location even tho its kinda outside the city centre!

no ac in our room but thats to expect from old european buildings haha! and the fridge in our room didn't work.
