Excellent location right on the main plaza square, though it can be a bit noisy with the brew pub attached, and with musicians playing in the square on some nights. But we loved being in the heart of all the action, so it was perfect for us. Breakfast was amazing. Craft beer and food was exceptional. Great staff who went out of their way to fix our tv remote.

Rooms in front of the hotel are incredibly well designed, but a tad small. Though the attached deck/seating area made up for it and we certainly had everything we needed within.

Choice of room seems to make a difference here. We had the junior suite next to the dip pool which was lovely. The inner courtyard is lovely, room spacious and clean. Convenient to the square.

Noise from the square at night, no lobby, they could not check us in on time due to a late checkout.

Hotel 1697 is a hidden gem. Perfectly located on the main square, we walked to everything we wanted to see in town. Our room was exceptionally clean. The staff and owners were outstanding. Could not give a higher review.

During our stay (for three of the nights), the hotel had hot water issues due to some mechanical problem that could not be fixed immediately. The owners were aware and did everything they could do to get it fixed as quickly as possible. Not perfect, but would not rate lower because of this issue as the facility and people are so great and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Location was perfect. Housekeeping staff were amazing, gracious and so thorough. Manager/owner was available fo r messaging and promptly replied. And then Oliver helped clear s with getting our covid tests right there on the patio of our room for travel back home, so convenient.

Hmm, have to really dig for that. Maybe a bit more of a variety for breakfast? It was great, but it is the same everyday. Hard to figure and any faults maybe just something simple like that?

The hotel location was awesome. Located right next door to the brewery and great dining! The town and shopping was also very close by. Felt very safe and comfortable at all times. Everything was in walking distance.

Second floor above the pool very very nice . Make sure you don’t get a room by the brewery ; small and not very private . Breakfast was good as well . Location is limited on parking but right in the middle of shops and restaurants

The ambieance, the beds and the location except for lack of parking. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional and do pleasant outside by the pool. The resturant was very good that is more or less attached to the hotel. The staff was exceptional and helpful at the redt. and hotel.

Lack of towel bars or hooks to use after bathing. The tv system was a nightmare, apparently you need a laptop or cell with a cord to plug into it to get anything.

The hotel was just on the main square, close to restaurants that were very good, including their own. The staff in both the restaurant & hotel were excellent & the breakfast was good.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

The location was really great and the staff meeting was welcoming and professional. They even offered a free welcoming drink! I had a small double bed room but it felt pretty cosy. The included breakfast was made fresh.

The people that thought that th pool was theirs and blasted their bad American rock music.

The location of the hotel is perfect.... right on the square so easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, the beach, etc. Staff was friendly, room was pretty, comfortable and clean, for being centrally located it was quiet, setting by the pool was very nice, Mexican touches with tile felt very authentic and the breakfasts were great! The restaurant was also excellent, and welcome drink was a nice touch!
