Very warm and welcoming Staff from the gate to the reception to the restaurant. Amazing people. The ambiance is also very good especially the restaurant setting. A wide variety of food on offer. The rooms are well kept and very clean.

I stayed in the heritage wing and although the rooms was clean and well kept. A minor issue though , the back yard as seen through the window is not very pleasant to look at. It needs to be cleaned up and the dilapidated structures sealed off from the guests view or repainted.

Midland Hotel is centrally located with all city conveniences within walking distance. Hotel staff warm and friendly. Breakfast menu really good.

Some rooms need an upgrade to reach a standard that matches their price. I paid the same price for my visitors as for my room, my own room was far less quality than my guests (I’m glad they had good quality accommodation) but perhaps the cost of a room should match the standard. I also did not like the cashless operation. I believe that where cash is legal tender I should have the option of using it rather than being forced to use a card and paying extra fees.

When you arrive you are immediately enveloped in luxury, cleanliness and the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everything is beautiful and furnished with great taste, in fact we were ashamed because coming from a Game Drive we were obviously dressed for travel and dusty, but the staff welcomed us warmly without letting us notice our condition ;-) Just five minutes drive from Lake Nakuru, for New Year's Eve they organized a party with an amazing buffet, tables set in great style and luxury, colored lights everywhere, huge and beautiful rooms. You should stay a week rather than just one night. TOP Hotel, greeting to the staff and thanks for everything. Tara (Italy)

The hotel is conveniently located, and maintains its style even after the renovation. The double glazed windows sound proof the rooms which would otherwise suffer from the noise from the main road. Good Wi-Fi and breakfast, and availability of parking

Not much to mention, perhaps more bread varieties and of the fresh type could be served for breakfast, together with the sliced loaf/sandwich bread

Exceptional service by all staff from the guards, reception to the restaurant. Special mention to Brigid at the reception, Emmanuel at the rooms and Brian the waiter. Despite being close to the highway, the rooms are very quiet. They are clean, warm and all essentials are provided. Overall ambiance is awesome with beautiful flowers and well manicured lawns. Breakfast had a great variety to choose from and everything was fresh and delicious. Not forgetting the signature yummy chicken. Overall, everything was superb.

Situated right in the heart of the city, this histotic hotel still maintains its old charm while offering modern conveniences. The location offers easy access to the CBD and nearby areas. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the delicious buffet breakfast provides a good variety of options. Also, the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, this hotel offers a pleasant stay and is good value for money.

Showers were good, Breakky was good, staff was great, parking was ample and safe...

A La Carte Menu needs polishing. Cheese Pepper Steak was NOT it. It was just melted cheese on a steak, no flavors. The Chicken was close to what it used to be. An AC or Fan at the least should be placed in the rooms. The rooms need ventilation...very stuffy everytime I walked in until the windows were opened...

Everything. All employees were nice, well-mannered, helpful, gracious…pretty much every nice adjective you can think of… The hotel was pleasing to the eye outside and in. The hotel room was pleasing to the eye, clean and quiet. I slept very well at this hotel. The breakfast was good.

My room was clean and cosy, facing the garden. The restaurant was ok with usual Kenyan choice of dishes.

There is an announcement at the reception that the hotel takes no responsibility for guests' valuables and advises to use safe. However my room didn't have any safe and at the reception they told me that safes are only installed in more expensive rooms. The hotel is next to a very busy road with busy trafic, including many trucks, 24/7

Very large comfortable room with lots of space and clean. Strange comment but I really loved the table in the room and would be curious where to get one myself!
