Lyndale Guest House is in the quieter part of Weymouth but still just a short walk along the beach to the centre. Our room had everything we needed including tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge. The view is stunning a stones throw overlooking the sea and all you hear are the waves - perfect. Breakfast was plenty of choice and you choose exactly what you want the day before also beautifully presented. We will stay again.

The bath towels were quite small and not very soft also not much room in the bathroom to put anything and the shelf there inclined so couldn’t be used. But minor issues and wouldn’t put us off

The location was ideal - nice and quiet and a great escape from the crowds when needed. Excellent location on the seafront, so nice and easy to pop out for a swim without commiting to staying on the. beach all day for it. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. Our hosts were friendly and accomodating - they were the best part of the stay! As we were on the top floor and it was sunny, we were really grateful that the window opened fully to allow us a fresh breeze.

Everything that was within our host's control was exceptional. There was a bit of noise at night in the room above us, which woke us up - it sounded like someone coming in late - again, this is out of the host's hands and I cannot fault them for it.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was tight but not a problem. It was fantastic to be able to look out over the sea while we ate breakfast. The room was well decorated and had everything we needed.

The bathroom was a little on the small side and due to the room being on an upper floor it took a long time for the water to heat up, but that was explained to us at check in.

Amazing stay in a gorgeous guest house. Sylvia and Roger are such lovely hosts, friendly,kind, and nothing is too much. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with the amazing sea view to top it all of perfectly. My daughter said she had the best night sleep ever. Breakfast was delicious, the best tasty poached egg ever. Liked the idea of choosing breakfast the night before - less waste. Just a short walk from the train station, town centre and activities. Thank you, Sylvia and Roger for a perfect break away 10/10

Really lovely room, very clean, hosts were brilliant as was the cooked breakfast that is included in the price. I couldn't find any free parking nearby but managed to find a car park for only £6.50 for 24 hours. Fantastic location. We visited Durdle Door which was only a 26 min drive away and well worth the trip, just a shame about the greedy parking prices there, £12.50 for 4 hours.

The rooms are spacious, shower and bathrooms are always going to be smaller in buildings that have this much history and character but they’ve actually built the shower with enough space for my tall and larger frame to fit comfortably. Property is very clean and freshly painted, dining room was lovely too. My parents are older, large and slower but they enjoyed walking into town it was just the right distance away to not hear the masses of people but burn off Bennetts fish and chips. Views are stunning.

The room was very comfortable and clean on the ground floor with a magnificent view. Sylvia met us with open arms and assisted us with luggage to our rooms. Breakfast was delicious, and she helped us find restaurant for dinner and get a cab at departure. You can easily walk from bus or train station, but I was suffering from slight injury. We highly recommend this B&B.

Our hosts were really nice, helpful and very welcoming. The location is fabulous in a cul-de-sac right on the beachfront with lovely views and direct access to the beach. It's only a short walk to plenty of bars, restaurants, and the old harbour, marinas, etc., not far away. The B&B was clean and comfortable. Delicious fresh-cooked breakfast, and other items available, in the morning - they generously agreed to do this a little early since we needed to be out early. Free overnight parking directly outside - you'll need to find somewhere during the day though.

It's an old building (as are most on the seafront) so watch your head!

Quiet, pleasant guest house in lovely location with beach on the doorstep. Roger was welcoming and friendly.

Our standard double room was quite small - and bathroom was very small. Shower was not very powerful. This was all fine for us for one night - and it was such a delight to step out the door straight onto the beach.

We had a family room on the first floor with a bay window and a sea view - superb. Keeping the window open, you can hear the waves and watch the sea all the time. Wonderful. The room was spotlessly clean. And we had such a restful sleep, as the beds were so comfortable. Tea, coffee, water provided in the room. Breakfast was of good quality. And last, but not least, the owners are really very nice people, the place has a very good vibe to it!
